Yes, the lining in the mono buckets, as well as the Sac Plat, is called Vuittonite. It is a man made heavy cream-colored vinyl material. It can get really sticky and rot in extremely warm temperatures. I think the older Cire GM had Vuittonite, too.

What do you call the lining in Epi's? Is is suede? I need to redye mine and dont know what material to get coz im unsure of what it is.
I have a 2005 Trocadero and I am trying to determine what the interior lining is. I know many were lined in Vuittonite but apparently that stopped in 1997 due to the issues? I am thinking this may be a cross grained later but not sure maybe someone knows. I want to look after it so it doesn't get sticky if it is indeed some kind of vinyl
