Ladies after your advice! Have a 2017 pochette accessories which is still in gorgeous condition apart from the vachetta splitting ever so slightly (it’s above the stitches so doesn’t affect function). Do I get the tab replaced, or get a new one and sell that one? I’ve got one in my bag that I’m refreshing like mad, but wondering if I’m just caught up in the stalking excitement since I got my pm :giggle:

Ps if I choose to get it repaired anyone know how much?
Is the vachetta cracking or splitting apart where it was glued? If its just splitting and if you are feeling brave you could use some leather glue on a toothpick and glue it back together carefully. Not sure how much a new tab is these days, but it would be away weeks for repair.. and its totally up to you if you want to get a new one instead you will probably get very close if not more money for your old one than what you originally paid in 2017

Just splitting a tiny bit! I did debate that... but then got scared about the whole Louis Vuitton not touching things in the future if you’ve messed with them!

Anyone owns a victorine wallet in canvas? I just can't stop thinking about it, keep going back to check out the mono one with gold button (they fixed the photos finally), I think it's calling for me  If anyone has one - what is the wear like? I feel that the 'v' flap edge might end up turning upwards with regular use from grabbing onto it whilst opening, but maybe I wrong?..

Ok. I remember someone on the forum sunbathing their newly purchased MPA and PA in their window to protect the vachetta. I think it was @Khudbrook and @Lctam.

Anyone else done this with their new purchases and could post pics of the results?
I did for a little while  I sat outside with my PA for about an hour or so flipping it like a pancake :giggle: I can't say that I see any difference though. I read somewhere that it's like a conditioning treatment for baby vachetta (?) but I don't really know. I figured it wasn't gonna harm anyways

No Collonil spray though?

I have one in Rose Ballerine and I love it! Don't regret getting one  I've had it for over a year now and it's been my everyday wallet since. I think the wear is great considering how much I actually use it. The flap edge hasn't turned upwards (yet at least), but I think the shape of the flap depends a lot on how many coins you carry in it. I took some photos real quick to show you how it's holding up.

I’ve had my pochette metis in the window in the sun for like 5 days now I’d say. And my colonil spray is being delivered tomorrow!
