I got the mono couple weeks back off the site before the price increase but I think they restock it often and the vachetta one off Vestiaire last week for a good deal. I like the vachetta strap especially when it gets quite dark as i feel like it gives the bag a really vintagey look which I love for that bag and it's not too monogramy all over. But at the same time the mono strap gives it a really modern twist.... will have to try in store once they open again methinks! excited

hi ladies. not sure whether this is the correct place for my question. if not then my apologies, please let me know.
I am thinking of buying a preloved Louis Vuitton Padlock to use as a necklace. does any one know whether this can be Brought into Louis Vuitton ( when things go back to normal) to be repaired/ replaced if tarnishes badly over time?

As far as I am aware LV do not 'repair' padlocks. Padlocks with keys are around £25 from the store. Padlocks that are tarnishing can simply be polished back with Brasso as they are brass.

No problem at all, you can get Brasso at places like B&Q or Homebase or even Tesco / Sainsburys. I don't think they would replace them as in they would just suggest you get a new one. I would also recommend just trying to get a brand new one from the store instead of buying preloved as most sellers sell them for double the price of what they actually cost brand new from LV as people don't think that you can buy them from the store. I don't think they would be that hard to get as they simply are a 'replacement' part for a bag.Thank you so much!! omg you are amazing, always coming to my rescue!!

I went from buying a 2nd hand tarnished lock with no key on a gold plate necklace for £100. To a brand new key and lock for £25 from a seller with a lot of experience and great reviews!
