That is so sad to hear. I sold all of my canvas and was fortinate to pick up an empreinte Speedy B 25 which I love! It is now my staple bag. When people see it they always ask if it's still being made.

@ilovemulberry73 not sure if anyone has responded to you, but this is the new 2020 montsouris. It launches in Canada in 9/25. That bag you’ve posed is the PM size and is $3200 CAD. There is a bb version that is the same size as the Palm Springs mini as well, but not sure on the price. Both sizes also come in a vachetta version (slightly cheaper). You can check out foxy lv on insta for more details.
If you have a CA you can do a preorder for it now, but no guarantee to get it. I am on a waitlist as I’ve heard people have had bad experiences with preorders on popular items. You have to pay in full and canning cancel your order until LV deems it unfulfilled. If it’s still in production, i think you can’t cancel. Saw some horror stories of people waiting months with their cash tied up.

thats what I’m thinking too. The vachetta is pre-tanned by LV on this bag, but will still be prone to watermarks. With covid now i am constantly using hand sanitizer and hand cream too so I’d be worried about staining it. Otherwise, I’d totally get the vachetta. Love the classic look. The black is more sophisticated and luxe looking though.
Another vote for the Black straps montsouris. I have a palm springs pm and it doesn't hold a lot.
Would you sell your PM for the montsouris or buy both lol - my dilemma right now. They are both so different. Hard to decide on one!
I'll keep my Pm as I did use it a lot for awhile, and it's my only backpack type bag. I'm still trying not to buy a montsouris.

Oh well... I like the top handle, it is a good addition but wish they didn’t change the silhouette of the bag.
If it’s bigger I am ok with it. But if it’s same size as MM? No for me!
