I have two Speedy BBs and neither are double zip and neither came with a lock. On the Speedy BB Monogram ink, a lock and modifying the opening to accommodate a double zip would probably accelerate wear to the lambskin and compromise the structure of the bag. IMO, both are beautiful as is and I’m delighted to have them.
You will love it. It’s a beautiful bag and the embossing (monogram ink) is made better than the Empreinte. It’s a practical beauty and one that I will not need to handle with care BUT I’m also not hard on my bags. I hope LV makes other bags in this print.So lovely to see the ink speedy bb! Sigh, I preordered mine 3 weeks ago and apparently, this hasn’t arrived in AU yet. Please keep posting photos, love to see all yours and it makes me less impatient in the meantime
They still have the empreinte Speedy 25 in the EU site, there are a few in the world in marine rouge and looks like the noir is only available in Saudi Arabia - if you know anyone in those locations they may be able to get one for you, just do a search and you can see where they are located (Zoom all the way out)
The lambskin leather seems to be quite delicate and prone to scratch marks / creases.

I always wanted a waterproof, bigger version of the nano speedy! The chain is amazing and is the perfect length for me (169cm = 5’7”). Both sides of the bag are the same so it is made of two pieces of lambskin. And bonus: it has an inside leather pocket! My only nit-picky critique/preference would be a metal zip pull tab, but it is perfect in every other wayI cannot wait to use it this weekend
