maybe i'm too paranoid, people who live in metropolitan areas also use lv handbags.

@bagsamplified
thank you very much for your opinion and advice. maybe i have to appreciate my damier ebene bags more again.i love my colorful neverfulls and somehow feel old-fashioned with the classic bags. especially since I know that I have nice matching bags at home.

@snibor
I totally agree with you, 1 bag that goes with everything and has a zipper is ideal.

@Love_N_Lune
that was my plan: a bigger bag and the mpu. and now I can not decide

@onlyk
I would like to stroll through the city, go to beach bars, enjoy the city. and on sunday we go to the moto gp race. so I'd like to feel fancy:giggle:

@Penelopepursula
that's how I used to do it and used Hyde Park a lot, but with the corona distance I had used my neverfulls for the last 2 years without hesitation.

@Jktgal
I actually only have a few scarves. but I can see if my bag charms fit, that would be an idea.

now i postponed the problem to tomorrow, after i still had 4 bags after sorting them out. but tomorrow I have to pack.:giggle:

thank you for your answers.
i think my problem is that i have a lot of patterned clothes and shoes that the bag has to match. the mpa goes with everything but it's too small for daytime use.
for example this is my outfit

but its not possible with the speedy

i love this

but the pink of the speedy stands out

perhaps i should only buy black clothes:rolleyes:
I love your wardrobe! If not the damier ebene neverfull or sienna, then perhaps a non logoed cream, tan or black bag? With the sunrise pastel pouch for smaller carry?

not that it helps before your trip, but I find Hermes works well for some of these things, and if it’s not BKC, then it’s somewhat under the radar, allowing the RTW to shine.

I've had a heated argument before when I was standing in line for boarding and someone was walking around selecting luggage that isn't allowed on the plane because too many people had carry-on luggage. of course he chose my keepall in which 2 lv handbags, my tablet, kindle and camera were. Since they have no protection in the keepall if luggage is thrown, stacked or pressed, I refused and he threatened me with a flight ban. when i was able to board i tore off the ticket and took the bag on board. so i thought they might be safer in the suitcase. but on the other hand, the security checks sometimes take so long that your luggage is already there long before you.

in case of possible argument that a keepall is considered a luggage, a Neverfull GM, Onthego GM or such kind of large tote would be a safe choice to take for travel

I agree with everyone here. I felt the same as you when I flew internationally for first time since pandemic recently. Very stressed and felt last minute unprepared. But you are more prepared than you think. Once you're on your trip, you'll realise you can make do with whatever you bring, especially lucky that you're going in hot weather so probably packing lighter, and if pickpockety you would probably choose a bag that has a more closed top and is less fussy to open and close when you're juggling bags, suitcase and documents etc in your hands in transit.

I'd definitely go with one big one small. Pack the small in your bigger bag. I'm assuming the bigger bag is your carryon for the plane. The small can be something versatile for running around daytime as well as for night/ going out. (Sorry I am not too familiar with your styles of LV that you have) and if too difficult, bring a non-branded bag so you'll be more relaxed in the pickpockety city, and don't worry about matching outfits to bag, you can surprise yourself with new style combos with your bags that you'd never even considered before.

Hope that helps- enjoy your holiday! :smile::smile:
