LV and the quality

HI... I have owned many different designer bags such as LV, Chloe, Balenciaga, Coach, Marc Jacobs and Dior and even though I love them all ...LV to me stands up the BEST and really their prices on most of their bags are cheaper than other designers that I listed . I think you would be really happy with them as I have owned more LV than any other and have never once had any problems. Hope this helps ;)

Well I had alot of problems with mine BUT the customer service is really good and they just exchanged for the second time my Multicolore Speedy in 3 years. So you can count on them to exchange if there's any defect.

I have NEVER had a problem with any of my LV bags, items. I started buying LV over 25 years ago and even have purses over 20 years old that I still wear. I think the quality on everything I bought was good. I did have one Ludow vernis wallet I bought from ELux that had a defective snap which I sent back but that was the only thing and I didn't exchange it for another one because I just felt the snap might be a problem in the future.
So for me LV quality has been good, I am sure there are bags with problems but I have been lucky enough never to get one.

IDK, but to me it seems like luxury brands aren't so great about their quality these days compare w/old times. From my collection, Chanel and LV's quality control seems to be at their worst lately, guess it's all the mass produce? Of course the quality of LV and Chanel don't just gone south like Coach, but i do hear more quality issues than before, such as agendas fall apart, bleeding, zipper pull not being centered, Azur print's aren't perfectly mirroir like monos, Chanel custome jewl's stone kept falling off, handle broke, etc..not to mention their repair center is either a hit or miss....

I normally like the quality of LV, but I have a LV mono Noe bag (4 yrs old)and the canvas is starting to pull away from the bag. It's really weird and I don't think it can be repaired. Other than that I haven't had any problems with my other bags.

I think the quality of LV is very high -a lot of craftsmanship in the bags. I think the hardware is high quality. When I got my cherry blossom papillion there was a problem with the latch near the bow - I took it in and they fixed it on the spot.

I would say that overall the quality is very good but some lines are more hardy than others.

For daily use, the monogram canvas and damier are VERY hardy. My friends and I are quite hard on our wallets and bags and the LVs have stood up to the test!! bags from these lines are staples and will last for a long long time. The epi line holds up pretty well too!

For the other lines like Vernis, MiniLin, MC etc, you have to be more careful with them. Don't expose them to extreme temperatures, don't be too hard on them. FInd a patient SA and tell them what type of bag and usage you are looking for and have them explain the pros and cons of the different bags you like.

and if anything else, you can always bring it back to LV for repairs although i've heard some horror stories on the forum lately, which isn't good.

IMO the quality is amazing. I had qute a few LV bags and even though I carried them on a daily basis they hold up very well. I sold every LV bag to buy leather bags like Chloes, Balenciaga BV etc because I prefer leather but I kept all the small accessories like my epi wallet, key chain, vernis agenda and they have amazing quality. I just love their accessories!
