Yes it is expensive indeed! I’m surprised the women’s key pouch, which is Empreinte, cost lesser. I think I’m starting to be drawn to this too, considering if the monogram is also slightly “reflective” in certain angles. Oh no, better don’t think about it. If I buy this too, then I’ll have 3 new key pouches.

Yes! I think the cost of getting the dots ingrained in the canvas is more expensive than leather, considering they had to basically create a whole new kind of canvas for the collection so to speak.

Not only a new kind of canvas, they invented a completely new printing technique to print those 3D dots on the canvas. That’s probably also a reason, why the price is more expensive

Happy to know yours is perfect! My CA already processed exchange to be done when I showed and told her about the cracked glazing. They’ve scheduled to pick it up tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

I walked in and managed to get my hands on the YK MPA. Been wanting a MPA ever since it came out. Surprised I could walk in and get it, seems like this season’s collection launched with little fanfare?

I just ordered a LV x KY Keepall 25. I am so excited to see it in real life and really hope the order goes through (had to order it via customer service who was really really nice and very helpful, as my SA in store moved town a few years ago… Haven‘t been shopping much there after she moved as it got really difficult to order what I want…)! I am so excited to see it in real life and love that it is bigger than the XS Keepall (not a mini bag type of person here, but the 25 looks very usable!)!
Has anyone been eying that one, too? I like that this more toned downed version might be more versatile as the signature colors (I love the reds, though!!!) for everyday business.

It's funny, but I think part of the thrill of luxury shopping is chasing after the unavailable. When it becomes easy, it really slows down the decision making.

But I didn't do it with my Odeon MM. I bought it for pure functionality. Not even aesthetics. Hahaha.

Same with my Neverfull MM… Don‘t like the style much, probably too many people with the same as well as fake models, but still a strong and beloved workhorse that bag!

No, they launched this collection with massive fanfare! I‘m seeing it advertised everywhere. I think much of it is the insane prices they are charging, and that many people seem to be be meh about the collection, or much of it. Some pieces are $500 - $1000 US more than the exact same piece minus the dots. Bernard Arnault is now the “world’s richest man” and part of his fortune comes from the massive gougy unrelated to actual costs of goods/labor price increases across all of LVMH’s brands. Yikes.

For those that love this collection it should be easy to find what you want. I’ve left pieces in my shopping cart since launch to see if they were available still and all are, even typically popular pieces. When I saw the collection I was disappointed having hoped for something closer to her first collab. They sure went all in on this and I imagine demand has been disappointing. And they.have another wave coming.
