AGREED! I hope LV moves away from the guitar strap soon. It especially doesn't work on the Alma bb.

I don’t hate the guitar strap trend, but the ones on the current Alma BBs are too short for me to wear crossbody so it’s an automatic no. I really don’t get why the guitar strap can’t be lengthened to do crossbody and the regular strap can’t be shortened for shoulder carry. I only want crossbody myself but what happened to options? The strap for my NeoNoé does both very neatly.
The BB size comes with guitar strap and the nano size has the leather strap
so they want you to buy both haha Yes exactly! Guitar straps are comfortable and add a casual vibe to a purse, but the Alma is so classic and a little dressy looking that I’m personally not a fan of the guitar straps even though I think they work well with other bags. I’m so glad my Alma came with a leather strap.
And there’s the right answer. Someone at LVMH figured out that people will still buy a bag even with a guitar strap they don’t like and then buy another bag with a matching strap or buy the strap separately.
