Ladies, let me share some canvas geekery. I might have mentioned before that the Kusama canvas is quite different from the regular Monogram. The brushstrokes are not simply painted on, but to achieve an actual 3D feel, the plastic top layer is embossed with them. But since they probably couldn't put these extra thick elements onto the finished canvas, they embossed both the strokes and the regular canvas grain at once. But this is where the twist comes, the grain pattern on these Kusama pieces are quite different than the one on the regular products. The regular grain is like hills and valleys, but the Kusama grain is flat with lens-like discreet bumps over it. I wonder if they will feel different, but up close they certainly look very different.

I don't mind screen printing. But with these "paint on" effects, and with actual thickness, will the wear and tear be something to worry about? Say parts of the dots get rubbed off and a dot is missing corners....

I like the mini speedy.

I guess since it is all set in hard PVC, it should wear just as fine as fine as regular canvas, but yes, the paint might get rubbed off on corners.

In your case I would probably choose the monogram one, since the black one is almost like the red/white speedy. And the monogram speedy has the unique 3D painted dots which the black speedy does not have!

How much are these three pieces? BTW.
For you, I think since you're ordering the red/white already, I would opt for monogram for diversity.

Thank you very much for your opinion, yes I’m ordering the monogram one, my previous CA also chose the monogram :biggrin: :hbeat:

That's okay. At least you secured one. I think this piece will be a hit. Do enjoy your red/ white one first. My CA has a regular mono nano, I have to go in and try first. I've never really owned a bag this small so I want to see it against my frame. Maybe it will look funny on me.

Strangely, in wild life, I've never seen a nano speedy.

That’s a good idea to check the regular mono one out. ;-) I have the old and the new model and love both.
tbh I’ve only seen a nano speedy in the wild once (except my own of course:giggle:): I went for a summer vacation to a small place in Croatia and took my nano speedy old model with me. Imagine how surprised I was when I met a woman at the beach, wearing exactly the same bag!:lol:
