I noticed her profile was down too and came straight to tPF for answers lol! Another account that posted early Kusama photos is also down right now, louisvuitton_passione. First her YK photos were reported and taken down, now I haven’t seen her acct at all for a few days. Who is banning them on insta? LV?? I’m confused.
It is very likely that Louis Vuitton filed a copyright claim and asked Instagram to take action.
Foxy literally builds a business on knowing insider (and prerelease) info, and she also — as far as I heard — charges money for sharing that info with the followers. And up until recently she posted the official Vuitton photos with a ©foxy watermark. That is also very problematic legally. These things add up. She is a very lovely and kind girl, but I see why Vuitton has a huge problem with her.

But in her defense, it is the marketing and product line choices of the last 5-6 years at Vuitton that created such a demand for people like her on Instagram. 10 years ago you could simply walk into the store to check out almost the entire Kusama collection, even in the smaller boutiques. They were available and accessible. Now Vuitton is playing this hype game, of course people will monetize on that.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. That makes a lot of sense, especially with the copyright watermarks on official LV photos. I think this is just the beginning and we will see a lot of changes coming to LV next year regarding how and when their new releases are made accessible to consumers. It will be interesting to see how the shopping experience evolves…

I wonder when preorders start in europe :hrmm: None of my SAs have a clue right now
Probably very soon
Are the preorders available for everyone? I heard only VIC clients can preorder now?! And are you in the US?
I’m in Malaysia, my online CA is handling Malaysia, Singapore and maybe Australia/NZ . I don’t think it’s only for VIC
