If you love it and it looks great on you, who gives a fig which gender it was manufactured for. Wear whatever brings you joy. I could certainly imagine that watch bringing my female wrist a lot of joy!

It helps me to remember that buyer's remorse occurs not because of a deficiency in the product, but because of the brain's perception of opportunity cost. If you buy thoughtfully, after much research and consideration, then it's easier to place the buyer's remorse in context as a neurological response to closing options rather than a shortcoming in the product you bought.

This is not to push you to buy anything -- like I said, the choice has to be processed carefully or the regret becomes more valid.

Love the story of your Chaumet and the symbolism behind your pink strap, vanilla_addict.
Thank you sweetie i will mske sure to picture my other beloved watch (chopard happy sport) and tell you the story behind it too :) maybe you will get inspired by how much each one of us has an attachment in some way with their watches :)

Just to kindly add some info. I really love when watch makers introduce limited\special editions! They sometimes put so much art in them which make them so unique.

My friend got the above chopard seven years ago,
and i was thinking why on earth would she choose a pinky theme watch. She loved it. And it was limited edition. When ever i see her wear it, i fall in love! I ended up picking the pink strap for my watch as i said earlier and wore it for two years now almost daily! Its like my pivot classic color of the moment. And oh my does it go so well with so many colors and outfits. (I am into classic style mostly)
And my friend proved to me that if you love a certain style or color you can make it the center piece of your outfit and every thing (including other jewl items) will blend so easily with it without the effort that you imagine it would take. Plus its so unique. Not a classic metal nor black\brown strap (thoughi love those too).

Here is a pic beliw for a limited edition chaumet class one that i absolutely see gorgeous. For me it resembels the waves that form from rain drops in a lake say  or i see it also as a form of sketch of a bunch of roses looking at them from up

Ehim  i am all over the place here sorry
Some even allow you to customize your watch :flowers:
For example chopard has an app in the apple store for that. And it sends you an email with a code for your design. And tells you if you want to order the watch you can contact a botique:heart:
My example of my fancy dreamy customization: i choose rose gold and mother of pearl, added some floating diamonds as well as a star, snow flake, letter D and a heart

i am also currently researching for a future purchase.
if you are reading about premium luxury watch brands, try this page: http://www.fratellowatches.com/brands/
also, some have recommended me to visit https://www.hodinkee.com/
eventually, you will learn (instinctively i guess), which particular brand fall in which category.

personally, i do not like them blingy. i'd rather pay for the complication(s) rather than the bling.
so my first requirement is for it to have an automatic movement.
consider also the cost of servicing them.
they say some brands may take some time (like months) before they could return it to you after the service.
interestingly, some brands are somewhat minimalist in style like Nomos, Stowa, Junghan (if you are into that)
i am planning to try on nomos when i get the chance to visit their booth :)
although i very much like the reverso, nautilus, and the royal oak, i don't think i'd be able to stomach the full service cost.
hammerofdawn has good taste and great advice!
