Luxury Malleries - are they authentic?

The Luxury Malleries seller, Abiding Consignments, has some great Hermes bags, but does anyone know if they're authentic? They seem to be, but it doesn't seem right that they have no feedback available, and also only want payment by wire transfer for items over $1k.

Thank you very much! Can't find anything on Abiding Consignments specifically, but plenty to say that Luxury Malleries sell authentic items. Shame that they won't allow payment via Paypal though, for a Hermes bag. Western Union or wire transfer are too unreliable. Thanks for the help!

Hello - and thank you for your comment about Abiding Consignments having some nice Hermes bags! I have had a serious issue with one of the members here, and have since taken down the listings for the Hermes bags I have - to take steps to get them further Authenticated - by an expert that I trust! I do ask that all of my consigning clients provide original receipts if possible, and if not a SWORN STATEMENT TO THE AUTHENTICITY!

The reason we don't take Paypal for more than $1000 is that Paypal can "limit" an ENTIRE ACCOUNT - not just put the payment for the item itself on hold, which pretty much shuts us down since we cannot send or receive any payments during that time.

I am looking into other ways of payment, including possible credit card, or escrow.com (which ebay recommends for higher priced items). Our intention is to ensure that the customer is happy and it IS A SAFE TRANSACTION!

Although we are a new store on Luxury Malleries, we have sold several designer items to very happy customers, so if you should find an item on our store that you are interested in, I would be glad to provide you with a reference list.

I do understand that there are many unscrupulous people out there - honestly, I really didn't get the full understanding of this until recently. Perhaps I am naive. However, I have found you expect in others the qualities that you have. For example, it is typical of a cheating spouse to accuse their spouse of being the one cheating! When you are honest and trusting...well, you expect others to be as well. I choose to deal with POSITIVE ENERGY and keep looking at life with the glass half full ;)

I am taking EVERY POSSIBLE STEP to ensure that both my consigning clients and the customers we sell to are happy! This business was started by recently single mom's, having trouble with settlements and child support, and realizing the greatest assets we had were our accessories! It is growing quickly and for each person that we must deal with who is unhappy and therefore has to make themselves feel better spewing negativity, we have fortunately had 5X the people who are positive and a joy to deal with. BTW - these negative people have not been clients or had real interaction with us - just those who can post without regard for the consequences!

Again, thank you for noting that we do have some nice items!

Sandy

I'm underwhelmed by what seems to be a lack of a vetting process on Malleries. At these price points, I can only really emphasize that you must know who your seller is, where they obtain their merchandise, and that they have a flawless return policy in the event of issues.

And please post any purchases in the Authenticate This thread for the brand. It is not a perfect system, but in most cases, I can say with confidence that we are able to save people from spending their hard earned money on counterfeits.

The store, 'Abiding Consignments' has been removed from the Malleries site and will not be returning due to repeated violations for authenticity issues.

No - that isn't true! The majority of the items I have listed are not/never were in question - it was a Hermes bag and wallet that I have sent to Carol Diva for further authenication.

The store is not up right now because of Paypal and a payment issue - a customer that paid with 6 payments (not sure exactly why) that had my account "limited" and unable to send or receive any payments!

Your store was removed due to ongoing issues with authenticity of many of the items you were offering for sale. Malleries and Paypal have nothing to do with each other and you are delusional if you think that Malleries closed your store because Paypal limited your account.
