This thread started off in a very lighthearted fashion. As of late it has veered ro the realm of the pedantic. We all like and admire Lt. Col. Johnny, and perhaps we can keep it at that. More pictures of cute guys wearing kilts are always appreciated.
Yes I agree. Once it gets to obsessional stan territory (akin to the Alexander Saarsgard wing of TPF) it...changes the vibe.

I'm a bit on the fence with this one because something about the guy grinds my gears wrong as time goes by (there's something off-putting about him even though I used to like him years ago; loved the film Dear Frankie) but Gerard Butler has worn a kilt many times and it doesn't look too bad.

It was irking me as to why David Duchovny was wearing a kilt. I understand that people wear them as a fashion statement, but I had the feeling that this was not the case with him.. It turns out that his mother is from Scotland. Mystery solved! Here is a picture of him singing with a band. Can't say I am a big fan of this look.

More kilted David Duchovny (in a more traditional variant).

He’s wearing his mum’s side Clan MacFarlane tartan. :)

The variety of tartans is incredible, really. This one with the purple is really sort of playful. I like it! Thanks to this thread I've come to realize that I LOVE either these neatly tailored, formal looks or the more "battle worn"/"been doing the mucking out" kilt styles.
