The Daily Mail said he was 5' 10" but even that sounds iffy.There is a woman in one of the MJT groups on Quora that SWEARS that the Major is 5'9" and, no matter what, you couldn't convince her otherwise...I think of that post every time I see a photo of him in a crowd, constantly surrounded by hobbits.

I’m going to go check Getty images later. Now that Charles is King there are thousands and thousands of images *cries*“the things I do for love …” as a beloved, but not kilted, character once said.
And there's the proof that these outlets literally just pull things out of thin air. Wasn't Diana 5'10"? He's over 6 foot, for sure. (as sure as one can be without...um...measuring him.
I noticed in that TikTok clip that he's carrying a garment bag from Anderson & Sheppard. They hold a royal warrant and have been making suits for the king since 1982 or something. My guess is that despite how DELICIOUS the Major looks in a fitted/tailored SINGLE breasted suit (see the Boris Johnson/Police Memorial vid from 2020/'21...there's a longer video that captures him getting out of the car and...OMG...walking around...in this suit that hugs his thighs, shoulders and just generally fits him like a glove. I've linked it below. Start at JUST before 1:00:00. It's glorious.) HMTK might have some sort of sort of preference that his staff attire should be similar in style to his...? It makes sense to me that he might like to send them to have some suits made at "his" shop. I dunno. Just a thought. It does create a uniform look but I'll never prefer the double breasted affair on the Major. If he's not going to be in the kilt, then, he belongs in a tailored, single breasted number, IMO.

And here is William not right next to Camilla but you can draw a line across Charles to see where the top of her head is relative to William and the height difference looks very similar to that between her and the Major:
I think he is probably about 6 ft? And then the hackle on his headgear seems to add a bit.
This is from yesterday in Scotland - I can’t get a sharp enough shot of the epaulettes (shoulder boards) to see if there is another rosette under the crown which would indicate promotion to Lt Colonel. Maybe it will happen at the end or the year?

I've seen about 2 pictures now and I'm 100% sure I see a "pip" between the crown and cypher (a few folks on twitter have seen this too). In other words, he was promoted to Lt Colonel!!!
Interesting the cypher is still the 3 feathers of the PoW (which he had before). Maybe KC3's cypher hasn't come out in this wearable form yet?

He’s definitely at least 6 ft if King Charles is 5’ 10”. Do we know how tall the PM is? Not sure how tall her heels are here but in heels she’s as tall as KC.
I swear, I was laughing so hard that this woman was adamant about him being so small LOL. Those photos from Greece are so impressive to me because they make it totally obvious that he's towering over several people. He looks formidable. It's so hot. So, yes, people will literally just say anything.

The evolution of the gorgeous Major's civvies during his tenure as equerry. I don't want to say too much about my...observations. I think the photos speak for themselves and might help explain the switch from a very form flattering slim/Italian cut suit to a somewhat boxy (although expertly tailored, no doubt) double breasted number..
Neither one of these photos has been edited outside of a crop job. I took a photo of my laptop screen from the Boris Johnson umbrella video for the first. I didn't play around with color or shading. Just wanted to mention that. The photo needs no editing anyway. It's so good all on it's own
