Quick question please. Watched Their Majesties arrive in France and Jonny looking magnificent in his uniform but why no feathers in his Glengarry? I was amazed at the crowds of people milling round The President and Mrs Macron and Their Majesties when they did their walk about but Jonny walked with The Queen seemingly to keep her safe. I’m sure, like everybody, he has some bad traits, but he comes across very well. My Mother used to say “handsome is as handsome does” meaning you should judge someone by their actions not by their looks. He seems to have both in spades.
He had the Blackcock feathers when he left the plane, but not when he arrived at the Arc de Triomphe.

Why?? I have no idea!!!

My guess would be that as he was travelling in a car, rather than the usual van used in the UK, he took them off as they were too high for the roof. However, I will ask Mr RomeGirl later on if he knows.

When does the state banquet starts?
Yes, it's from Kigali, Rwanda at a Commonwealth heads of government meeting and short tour welcoming Rwanda into the Commonwealth (not an ex British Colony, but joined recently of their own free will, as has Cameroon).

It is the lightweight ceremonial jacket for Tropical climes and dress regs describes the colour as stone.
Thank you

Isn't is lovely the way Jonny is caring for the Queen, guiding her, speaking with her, escorting her to the car, carrying her flowers and making sure she is safe.
The way he’s watching her, I’m guessing he’s prepared to prevent her from falling in case she trips on the cobblestones. The way she walks these days makes me a bit uneasy as she sometimes doesn’t look too steady on her feet. She’s 75 years old and I think suffers from arthritis.

I love the way he talks with his hands ❤️❤️

Looks like Jonny was looking after HM Queen Camilla at the Arc de Triomphe on.

The ‘A’ team are certainly all there for their Majesties. Sir Clive Alderton the King’s Principal Private Secretary, Sophie Densham, the Queen’s Private Secretary, Tobyn Andrea, the Communications Secretary and Jack, the Senior RPO.

I noticed that one time while he was waiting for her from a few steps away, the crowd tried to gather between Jonny and the Queen. Jonny rapidly lunged through them and was by her side in an instant.
