So, I've only read good things about this product on tPF and since it was so highly recommended I bought it. I used it as directed on my new never used cabas mezzo. It did a great job on the bottom of the bag. I feel it protected nicely. However, I used it on the vacetta handles and now they are a dull gray like color. With no shine like it had before. Has anyone else had this issue? I am so bummed about it!! My poor straps are sad looking now. The only reason I put it on the straps was so I could wear it out in the rain and not get water spots on it. Now, I'd rather have water spots instead of this gray dullness.

hi mandyglick, i am so sorry hearing you experienced this issue, i never used lmb products though so i just want to send you virtual hugs i know it's heartbroken especially your bag is brand new.. i hope another tpf members can post helpful experience with lmb..

Can you post pics? I have used it without problems. The only complain I have it's that I used it on the mono tab of a new mini pochette and it got a tad darker. But it's a nice color, not gray.

I just used it on my new Tivoli GM and I didn't have this problem. My issue is that yes I did get my shine back after I buffed the leather but no matter how much I buff the leather it feels gummy and sticky. The vachetta did not darken or anything, there were some spots but after 24 hours they were gone. Post pics!! When I used the LMB on my 3 year old speedy it made it very dull and the leather almost matte. I do not recommend the cleaner at all, also it almost completely removed my made in heat stamp which isn't a big deal to me but I know some people would not like that.

Thank you for your input. How would I buff the straps to get some shine back? And, I could see how doing so would cause some sticky gummyness.

Hello, use a microfibre cloth.. If u can find bjtaylor video where she treated her delightful, she showed what cloth u can use to buff after u applies the protector and soil release.. I used lmb on my galliera and never had problem..
