I was in the Avignon store in the South of France and they SA's there are so helpful and actually tried to sell me bags, bracelets, scarves. I was so impressed, usually you have to beg!
A few days later I was in St. Tropez and again the SA's were extremely nice. I was looking for an Evelyne and got lucky - I found the Bleu Orage color I had been searching for. It is the bigger size (I wanted the smaller one) but I LOVE it!

If you still remember, could please tell me what bags were available in the Avignon and St. Tropez store? Is is very difficult to get to st. tropez? I was trying to go this Feberuary, but after learing how difficult it was, I gave up. But reading your story makes me regret not going there. TIA.
I was specifically looking for an Evelyne this year so I did not really pay attention to other bags. In Avignon - the nicest shop, they had an Evelyne in the gold, Togo I think. In St. Tropez, the had an Evelyne in Chocolate. I would doubt they would still be there after over a month though. St. Tropez is not hard to get to from Nice, except for the traffic once you get close. It is a beautiful town, despite the crowds. I love it. I just don't know if February would be a good time to go, it is a Summer town, and it will be too cold for the beach.

Dear: thank you so much for your reply. I am not looking for Evelyne, it looked too young for me. But I just wanted to know if you saw anything else, as I am planning a trip in January, and thinking about going to Avignon, Lyon, etc It seems pretty difficult to get to St. tropez when it is not summer time. A lot of boat were cancelled or unavailable, after doing a little research, I gave up. Thank you for your blessings, I will try Avignon next time.
