I’m going to be provocative here, but I question the superb quality of this bracelet when people are losing their bracelets due to the new design of the screws. It’s such a common issue, yet Cartier has not done anything to address this adequately or update their design. The use of loctite, which is fine, it is commonly used in jewelry craftmanship, should not be the only solution.Honestly, I have to disagree with the above. I don't see it being a trend. When something is so ingenious and innovative as well as being made with such craftsmanship and having such a modern look, I don't think it will go out of style. I, for one, do not buy things because of trends. If anything, I purchase things for a different reason. I purchase things for superior quality, and if it happens to be a trend, then so be it. I just don't see any other bracelet out there that meets my standards for superior quality and comfort.
As for the Trinity line, I can see that line going out of style as it can be a bit dated mixing 3 golds, and it's not like that design was the most ingenious and creative idea in jewellery making. There's just no comparison to having the forethought and idea of using a screw mechanism in order to hold a bracelet together. It's like a piece of art!
As for those who are purchasing it for other reasons such as to "Keep up with the ....", I certainly am NOT. I can't stand those people and what they stand for.
Cartier is getting a “pass” because of their name & the trendiness of this bangle but if another jewelry company consistently put out a product that had faulty mechanisms and didn’t do anything about it but advise glue, they’d lose business.
