Honestly, I have to disagree with the above. I don't see it being a trend. When something is so ingenious and innovative as well as being made with such craftsmanship and having such a modern look, I don't think it will go out of style. I, for one, do not buy things because of trends. If anything, I purchase things for a different reason. I purchase things for superior quality, and if it happens to be a trend, then so be it. I just don't see any other bracelet out there that meets my standards for superior quality and comfort.

As for the Trinity line, I can see that line going out of style as it can be a bit dated mixing 3 golds, and it's not like that design was the most ingenious and creative idea in jewellery making. There's just no comparison to having the forethought and idea of using a screw mechanism in order to hold a bracelet together. It's like a piece of art!

As for those who are purchasing it for other reasons such as to "Keep up with the ....", I certainly am NOT. I can't stand those people and what they stand for.
I’m going to be provocative here, but I question the superb quality of this bracelet when people are losing their bracelets due to the new design of the screws. It’s such a common issue, yet Cartier has not done anything to address this adequately or update their design. The use of loctite, which is fine, it is commonly used in jewelry craftmanship, should not be the only solution.

Cartier is getting a “pass” because of their name & the trendiness of this bangle but if another jewelry company consistently put out a product that had faulty mechanisms and didn’t do anything about it but advise glue, they’d lose business.

Yes, this is an issue they *need* to address and they will.

For the style it may be like an ocean. There are waves and tides, sometimes even Tsunamis but on the long run it is lasting. Okay not to eternity, the lake may evenutally run dry.

You'll have to find the thread where I wrote about how it's not a flaw of the design itself, but how screws inherently work along with frequent vibrations. I think the design is GENIUS. I truly would not want them to change the design. I love the concept of screws holding the bracelet together along with it "locked" on one's wrist. For these two reasons alone, it's not for everyone.

Also, I believe the percentage of faulty screws is a small percentage of the mass population of Cartier Love bracelet wearers (kind of like how we read and hear about homicides all the time on the news so we think it occurs frequently when it's only a very small representation of all the crimes committed). Moreover, this forum is only a small representation of all Love wearers and usually people only complain when bad things happen so we are not getting the full picture especially the numbers of all the satisfied and non-problematic wearers.
