Been thinking about this watch since it came out. Debating between getting it as preowned or brand new. How can I tell if it is gen1 vs gen2?

I had the hardest time pairing my Gen 2 Tambour to the LV Connected iOS app! Worked before, but when I upgraded my iPhone, it somehow would not pair. I couldn't figure it out!
Eventually it worked, here's how: ensure the iPhone is sleeping when you trigger pairing from the LV Connect app on the watch. I then saw a Wear OS notification and woke the iPhone and clicked it. That then launched Wear OS which launched the LV Connect app, and it was paired. There was no prompt or option to scan the QR code.
Previously I was opening the LV Connect App on the iPhone and selecting Pair New Object, which was then waiting for the watch to display the QR code, which never happened.
