I hunted for an OG SS Speedy for years looking for one in decent shape. Sometimes when you see one, it's just the time to grab it..you'll treasure it I'm sure!Reviving this thread, although not Fashionphile. I found a roses neverfull in excellent condition on TRR. Listing said no signs of wear. I grabbed it. But before I did I contacted them to ask about the return policy. I, too, don't generally purchase from anyone that says final sale. They said if the condition doesn't match the listing, they will offer a free return. The last thing I need to do is buy another bag and my sister in law promptly reminded me of that . We're remodeling and that money could certainly go elsewhere. HOWEVER, I have always lusted over the roses on this bag and have never seen it in excellent condition! I need a little reassurance from my enablers here!
I bought a brand new roses speedy then sat on the shelf never used, every time I was going to use it, look at her, just too perfect to use, put it right back, i also bought a roses pochette accessories, that one I actually used few times, it’s a great bag going to neighborhood parties.I hunted for an OG SS Speedy for years looking for one in decent shape. Congratulations! I hope it’s exactly as listed. That is great to know that they’re willing to offer returns if the condition doesn’t last (or they may be willing, if contactEd), because their return policy on bags has always stopped me from purchasing. Especially because the photo quality is very poor, descriptions are often lacking pertinent details, etc. Just very inconsistent IMHO, at least on the bags I’ve looked at.Reviving this thread, although not Fashionphile. Sorry you had such a bad experience! I have been very hesitant to buy from them and actually a lot of other sites since the photos are terrible! I've had the best luck with both Fashionphile and Yoogi's Closet. The only reason I took a chance was because I had it in writing from them and they notated my file that they would offer a free return if the condition didn't match the listing. Fingers crossed! I was willing to take the risk with this particular bag. I hope I'm lucky. Lol.Congratulations! I hope it’s exactly as listed. I had a terrible experience with their customer service last year, about a LV bag I was trying to buy. It looked like it was in very good condition, but I had some questions and wanted to know what year it was from, as some years for this style had known quality issues. They had about 20 of the same style available at the time and every single other listing had the year date, except this one.
So long story longer, I contacted them, asked if they could look up the code for me, explained where/how to find it in the bag, yadda yadda yadda. I got transferred to multiple agents, it took forever, and then I was ultimately told that that was confidential information and they could not release it prior to the bag being sold, for authenticity security reasons.
So I explained MULTIPLE TIMES that I was not requesting the actual item code, I literally just wanted to know the year it was created, etc. I sent them multiple other listings from their site, highlighting how those each showed the info I was requesting, etc. … and just kept getting gaslit and stonewalled. They just kept insisting that I was incorrect and repeating that this was not information they disclose ever (despite the evidence I presented to the contrary), and that I would have to purchase the non-refundable bag if I wanted to know this.
It was SOOO frustrating! And like … I get that the customer service agents I spoke with probably don’t know this info, but every single one of them just refused to even try to understand or help. I explained exactly what I was looking for, told them where it could be found, asked if I should reach out to someone else in another department, etc…. But they refused to do anything other than repeat erroneous info.
So at that point I just gave up on ever purchasing anything from them! Found my bag in new condition on Fashionphile a few months later, and plan to stick with them UNLESS something super rare pops up on TRR.
I am eying an Hermes watch from TRR though, but fortunately that can be returned.
I have friends who have had great experiences with TRR, so I’m always glad to hear people who are happy with their purchases.
Congrats again on yours; can’t wait to see pics!![]()
I love the roses PA too!I bought a brand new roses speedy then sat on the shelf never used, every time I was going to use it, look at her, just too perfect to use, put it right back, i also bought a roses pochette accessories, that one I actually used few times, it’s a great bag going to neighborhood parties.
Sounds like you ended up finding one? I assume you love it?I hunted for an OG SS Speedy for years looking for one in decent shape. Sometimes when you see one, it's just the time to grab it..you'll treasure it I'm sure!
Thank you! I'm glad I ended up getting the pink and not the green. The pink is so vivid in real life. Pictures don't do it justice.I will definitely post pictures! I was shocked to see it in such good condition. I "liked" it at first and was going to wait for a price reduction but then figured I had better grab it! I love your bag also!!!! Great find!
To me it's very striking!Wow. I just read through this thread and realized the SS roses Neverfull has become a collectible! I'm so glad I have one! Got it in San Francisco Union Square. I wasn't thinking much at the time, other than that it was very pretty in the display window.![]()
Love it!
I think to me it all depends on the condition.Would also like to get everyone's thoughts on SS, particularly the roses vs. The V (Volez, Vogue, Voyages) Neverfull (not SS but another contender for me). That's another one I like but I gravitate more towards the roses. After reading this thread I'm loving the graffiti as well. Awesome vibrant colors.
Same here. I know some people like patina but I love light, clean vachetta. When purchasing preloved, I buy bags that look brand newI think to me it all depends on the condition.
