The Dauphine backpack https://us.louisvuitton.com/eng-us/products/dauphine-backpack-pm-nvprod2010020v. I really don’t understand the purpose of the snap closure in addition to the flap closure. If the flap closure opens accidentally, the snap closure will not prevent the contents from falling out of the bag. Also, the flap closure is top heavy. Depending on the weight of the contents in the bag, when you open the flap closure the bag will topple. IMO, this is another fussy, impractical bag.
Agreed! I love backpacks but this one is just too fussy plus I never liked Dauphine as the metal logo is too much and too busy for me.

It looks like the snap closure of the Dauphine backpack is meant to cinch the opening for shape rather than for practicality reason, just like the closure of the Neverfull.

The top of the sides are stitched. The top of the sides are cinched without using the snaps. The snaps do not reinforce this stitching and there is no way to relax the cinched sides. The snaps are cosmetic.

Ahh I see...guess I gave LV too much credit on the design of the bag hahaha...that's annoying. My interest for this backpack has definitely declined but that's probably a good thing :amuse:

I was going to buy but ended up not purchasing due to the straps. They will get in the way when you try to get items out. did you see the dauphine pochette?

Has anyone preordered one of the new epi Alma bb’s that are releasing 2/28? My CA says it’s not available to preorder yet, but with the launch date less than a week away I’d think preorders would be open.

I think the extra snap closure is too redundant for the design. But it regardless a beautiful mini backpack!

On 3/13, LV will relaunch the monogram/reverse Giant ZCP and Giant Zippy wallet. There will be no changes to the design of either item. Currently, there are no plans to relaunch other Giant items. Both are available to pre-order with a CA.
ZCP is $505 (M69354)
Zippy wallet is $930 (M69353)
