So I'm a crazy person I know, but I'm hoping to make 2 purchases very soon. I was looking through the past price increase threads. It looks like in 2014, the increase came on March 3. In 2013, it was on Feb 18. In 2012, it was on April 1. And in 2011, it was on Feb. 8. These are just the increases that happened in the beginning of the year.
I'm not sure that helps much. But do know that they have done an increase a week before Valentine's Day. I'm hoping to have my shopping done by the first week of Feb.
I am in Canada too...I don't remember price decreases with LV. Anyone knows?
I talked to my SA in Stuttgart, Germany my birthday is on the 2nd May and I want to buy myself the Speedy B 25 (980) and the Sarah wallet multicolor noir (605) the same day. She told me I shouldn't wait till may due to the coming price increase in february.
I think Feb is so close that anyone who wants to buy before price increase should do it nowBegining or end of Feb???[emoji15] Hopefully they wait till after Valentine's Day!
Yes we have had price decreases in Canada, its been awhile but it has definitely happened.
That must've been a while back. Not sure if our Canadian $ can recover any time soon with the oil prices falling even more [emoji24]. Really need to get something before the next increase. Prices will only go up for us unfortunately.
The last time I remember was about 2 years ago when our dollar was almost at par. Our prices were even better than the US at that time too. I remember I went to NYC late 2013 and found everything I wanted at LV more expensive than buying at home in Toronto, what a change from now. Just came back from NYC - yikes, exchanging my money wasn't fun! lol
Really sad to see our dollar fall so hard in such a short period of time [emoji24]. Just hope we get some warnings here before the next increase.
