I haven't heard anything from my SA, but then again she doesn't tell me about these things. From my experience, this thread, along with many ig accounts, tend to be reliable.

There aren't really any existing pieces I'm interested in. What's painful is knowing that all new releases will have a price that matches the price hike, and there's an entire year of goodies ahead. If tariffs are really the reason for a price hike, it'll be annoying if a trade agreement is made, tariff goes back to "normal"/current rates, and LV keeps their prices high.

Price going back to what it was almost never happens! Hypothetically if price increase is 25% to match the tariff !! Ohhh myyyy !!!

I think the PI and the US/France tariff dispute are separate issues which are being conflated. The T administration has announced a 25% tariff on the import of French luxury goods such as cosmetics and handbags in retaliation to the French digital tech tax on US companies. The US tariff will affect US consumers and shouldn’t have an impact on LV’s other markets. In terms of the PI, it will probably be the usual 3-5% or maybe slightly more to possibly offset the tariff issue but definitely not 25%. Once the US and France have resolved their dispute the 25% tariff will be removed. Tit for tat tariffs are harmful for both countries economy.

Price is Not worth for canvas based items honestly, brands like YSL have wonderful quality leather and priced better.
LV is greedy honestly ! I understand it is a luxury brand but price increase should match quality.

Sorry if this isn't the best place to post this question (I'm new :)).

I purchased an item this week over the phone, but it's still "pending product availability". Let's say I receive the order after the price increase and I notice an issue with the bag. If I need to exchange it (for the same bag, just one without defects), would they make me pay any price difference?

No you won't pay the price difference to replace it if faulty.

But if you exchange it for a different item (if faulty), the new price will stand. Or so I found! My speedy B had an issue and had increased in price in the interim. When I exchanged it for the neonoe, they gave me the value of the speedy b on that date. If that makes sense!
