I'm torn on this. I wouldn't mind it so much if they hadn't had a recent run of price increases. But I get that with the disastrous economic situation the shut downs have put everyone in globally, there's going to be a need to find money somewhere for all merchants. I expect price increases with many retailers.
Fourth increase since October, whether small amount of items or all items. Last one in March before quarantine on all items and now in May after some are coming out of it supposedly all items.
Many will remember how companies treated employees and consumers during and after a pandemic. Some changes are understandable and some are taking advantage. Four increases in 7 months seems like the latter.

They know less number of people will buy due to the pandemic and the subsequent financial situation so they have to increase their prices. Those that buy have to make up for the ones that won't/can't and there's only so many bags a reasonable person can buy in a fiscal year so it leaves pricing as the only other variable. They have to be very careful though. Pricing is a delicate art and science. I have a bag I've been eyeing, not sure what I'm gonna do since I bought a new bag in March that hasn't seen the light of day!
I had been holding off on buying an LV bag since last year because I was supposed to have gone to Paris last month (which of course got cancelled). While I was waiting there were 2 price increases! Now this news of another price increase is really disappointing. I was thinking that i wouldn’t buy another bag until later this year or next year but then with the thought of another price increase, I stalked and managed to snag the bag that I have been wanting. I think I am done for now and for a long time.
I am disappointed in LV. Enough increases in such a short amount of time and given the economic climate. I don’t usually complain about companies being tone deaf as I am a self professed macro economist. But this is too much even for me. I will solidly be supporting resellers I just feel so badly for my lovely CA. She has no control of LV corporate.
Is it true that LV holds back on their stock right before a price increase? It’s insanely absurd how readily available bags such as the Speedy (and Bandouliere), Alma BB, Siena, Neverfull, omg I could go on and on are “out of stock”!
heck I had to stalk for the freaking Clemence Wallet for my mom’s Mother’s Day present last night.
This is so disappointing, and LV is leaving such a bad taste in my mouth that they’re doing this right before a [rumored] price increase. I mean I guess it’s a great marketing ploy, but such a d!ck move.

It is worrisome that there seems to be a prevailing sentiment "those who can afford to, should pay". It is not just with retail. I hear that many service industries and contractors will have the same attitude -jacking prices up to make up for lost time- making things pricey so many will scale back or go without- just snow-balling the situation.
I am however very disappointed LV would take advantage so blatantly. So many increases in one year? Tsk-tsk, count me out for spending as I have in the past.

So that leaves the siena that's been on my wishlist plus a scarf.

Just read an article on ******** and it says that the price increase is in the USA and its already changed on the website.
So maybe Europe is safe for the time being because of the earlier increase.

Just checked on the website for some items (ones I’m following) and looks like no price increase YET? Hopefully, you guys don’t get it in Europe too...just ridic ♀️
I'm in Canada and my SA confirmed May 5th to me, he said he wasn't informed until last night at midnight but it looks like USA has already implemented an increase
