Actually I recently got enlightened that money is just a means to stuff, so it is never the final goal. In that sense money is just stuff in waiting
Yeah I only meant people I care about. They come before stuff for sure. I care about animals a lot too. I don't always think a human life is more valuable than animals all the time.
Good point. The only purpose of money is what you can exchange it for. Food, shelter, medical care, travel, stuff, events. A big pile of money doesn't do you any good in and of itself.
Also, I would totally save the cats I love before people I don't love. - I have committed to care for them for the rest of their lives. They are my responsibility, and a priority to me.
