Another thing:

When I was in store today there was another turq v neverfull, and horridly I found a long and sharp scratch at the front of the bag, across right side of the V print. I also noticed the color beneath is brown. So V can be scratched, and likely there are multiple layers. It is still more durable than my mon mono, but it is not as durable as plain canvas.

I ordered a ramages pochette. I think I will end of keeping both pink V and ramages pochettes.

This is surprising as I was told it's silkscreened on the canvas just like the monogram itself. Yikes.

I think it is silkscreened cause they wouldn't say it is in the booklet if it isn't. And I still don't know exactly silkscreen means... But given the V is only at the front, I think we can just be a little careful and try not to let things scratch it. After all even regular monogram can be scratched if not careful enough.

Good to know- thank you for the reminder.

Indeed! We do and we learn. I felt rather silly, but I love what I love, and sometimes you only realize how much you love something/someone after they are gone.... So better cherish every moment with the stuff and people we have :)
I agree but I would put people before stuff but I guess this is a website dedicated too stuff so I understand your perspective.

I was actually thinking about that when I wrote it, I was wondering: would someone remind me that people should come before stuff? I also thought people come before stuff - way before - but I was too lazy to change the post once I wrote it.... It was really arbitrary when I wrote it on the order. It is not indicative of how I would actually rank them.

I put the stuff people are made of first.

Actually, I would put some stuff before some people. Let's face it: my bags were never dishonest, manipulative, cowardly or abusive. If there was a fire and I had to go in and save a bag or an animal abuser, the LV will come out safely every time.

Yesterday I managed to track down one of 2 charms left in canada. My husband has volunteered to pick it up and get it stamped for me. Since he usually avoids going in this'll be hilarious.

I agree that some people should come way after stuff- they do not deserve even that much credit. The OP mentioned people and stuff cherished that was the basis of my comment. Suze Orman says the correct priority order is: 1st people, 2nd money, and 3rd stuff which I tend to agree with.

Actually I recently got enlightened that money is just a means to stuff, so it is never the final goal. In that sense money is just stuff in waiting :)

Yeah I only meant people I care about. They come before stuff for sure. I care about animals a lot too. I don't always think a human life is more valuable than animals all the time.

Really start to love my bag. Funny story: I took it back yesterday thinking it was the rational and functional thing to do, only led to me driving back tonight again to buy back my own bag (thankfully it was still there).... I had to go through this to realize that it is my true love. I even dreamed about it last night and couldn't get it out of my mind all day today. Hubby jokingly said "you aren't gonna ever get rid of this bag are you" and I said "you bet I won't".

What is in my bag:
