I was told by the Leathers Manager that the Ramage is just as durable if not more because there are many layers of screening because of the different colors.
Made me feel better.

Would it please be possible for someone to post a pic of the V charm attached to an Azur bag? Trying to figure out if it would look really weird or lovely... Thank you so much in advance if anyone has the chance to do this!

Hello LVoers! I'm new here and I'm struggling to decide whether to buy a pre LVoed mono Pochette NM for about $285 or a brand new mono V Grenade Pochette Cosmetic for $440 (this is the approx. price at the LV store in Brazil). Which one will be more useful?! The mono V color looks so pretty, but the pochette is a classic...Hahahah Would someone please help me? TIA

as much as i love the le illustre items, and i do, if i had to choose i would get the plain mono i think because it is so versatile and you are not limited by color. i just wore my plain one crossbody with an added strap. and loved it. having said that, if you love the v one, get it now and wait for a plain one later. the le illustre stuff tends to get more expensive later on preloved once it sells out i think.

This is true. You can always get the regular mono later but you'll probably pay dearly for the V if you don't get it now. Look at how at how stupidly expensive the Ikat collection is!

Thank you so much!! Yeah, I have to think about it and decide asap! Actually I forgot to mention that there's also this pre loved Amarante vernis Pochette being sold by one of my mom's friend for $350. So far my only items are my Alma PM and a multiclés 6, both in canvas, so I don't actually know a lot about vernis items. Is it worth it? Maybe more than the plain mono pochette? 😁☺️ TIA again!

Thanks a lot!! I think you're both right, and I'm slowly tending to go for the V mono! I just love the color and also V is the first letter of my last name! 😉

amarante is beautiful . i have the key pouch. the thing is tho that it does show some fingerprints. not terrible but a little annoying. the mono is just so versatile. it literally goes with everything. whichever you choose, consider getting a matching long strap as these bags make great crossbody ones. i'm actually wearing my ebene pochette crossbody today to go to a firend's house for dinner. best of luck with your decision : ) ps,just read previous post. if my name started with a v i would probably be going for that one!

I was actually told the same thing. He said that the V actually has a thinner layer of coloring so that the symbols show through. His comment was that he will be interested to see how it holds up in the next few months. I didn't like that comment, but it did not stop me from buying it either!

Was he talking about how the V line would hold up or the Ramage?
