Hi I found a solution since having my bumbag. I simply add the chain it comes with to the leather strap! It’s awesome. I also have a chain strap attachment I bought which I can also use but for now I use the chain it comes with! On this pic the chain part is on the front but I wear with the chain part on the back which I haven't taken a pic of me wearing that way yet.

I heard a new mini bumbag is coming out in black , not sure if it’s black empriente or not and what strap they will be using with it. Anyone know?? Or has anyone seen pics? I do know the plan is for January. and that’s it.

Haven’t seen pics, but Emphosix posted that the mini bumbag would be coming out in empreinte next spring; I believe the black version would be the “Noir” listed below.

If there is a different black bumbag coming out in January, though; I don’t know anything about it. I know the High-Rise is coming out in denim in January; not sure about anything else!

Hello everyone, I have wanted the mini bumbag since it was released and finally was able to purchase it online this morning (unfortunately it’s a 4-6 wks waiting period). Question for those who have this, I want to make the strap longer and I was wondering if I could purchase a leather extender, has anyone done this? How wide is the leather strap? Do you have any recommendations? Thank you.

Hi All! I just picked up the mini bumbag from the boutique (ordered online and picked up at store) and noticed that my inside tab does not have a "Made In" stamp. Mine just says "Louis Vuitton Paris". Should I be concerned? I'm debating whether I should return it and wait for one that has a "Made In" stamp or maybe they are now making them without the stamp... would love input from anyone who has bought one recently. Thanks!

That means it was made in USA

That means it was made in USA
Oh, thank you! So any LV bag that doesn't have a stamp means it was made in the USA? I haven't followed LV for some time so didn't know the new way they do things. I know it's a matter of opinion but would you try to get one that has a stamp (so made in Italy or France) as opposed to one that doesn't have a stamp?

If there are no issues with the bag itself, I would just keep it. what is the difference with the stamp, I guess other than a personal preference …

Yes, if no ‘made in’ then it’s US produced. Some are partial to MIF. I like it bc LV is a French brand but I would not return bc I got an item that was produced elsewhere. My mini bumbag is made in Italy. They’ve been plagued with poor alignment/construction so if yours is looking good I would keep and enjoy!

Thank you and agreed that getting on MIF does seem special but I can't be sure I'd end up finding one so I think I'll keep the one I got. As I was researching this bag today, I read a lot about the poor alignment and quality control problems. I think mine looks pretty good but would love another set of eyes (or two or three :)) to chime in and let me know if I'm not seeing problems. Please let me know what you all think of the one I picked up. Thanks!

My husband and I looked at it and here what our thoughts, your bag has no obvious sign of mis alignment. The only thing that can trick your eyes to think it’s crooked are the 2 upper corners of the front pocket ,one on the right seems to show a longer curve than the left corner one and that is because of the nature of the zipper. Both end of the zipper are deferent materials ,on the right is metal and the left is fabric. For this reason both corners of the zipper influent the corners to look a little different . I believe it’s hard to avoid that. Our conclusion ( my husband and I) are your bag is perfect 👍🏼
