So I received the mini bum bag and love it! Another came in stock and I ordered to compare quality. Upon inspection, I noticed the patina is darker and glazing is a darker red on the first one and the clasp dot in the corner and font detail is slightly different as well. Both are made in Italy.
What does yours look like? Should there be a variation in hardware and glazing?
I do like the look of the darker glaze more. Which would you keep — The right (darker glaze) or left?

Interesting to see this difference in glazing! Mine is also made in Italy and has the darker glazing.
I don’t know if it’s pic angle but one of the bags looks like it has a slightly askew front pocket.
RE the strap - If you like the darker glazing just swap the strap with the one you’re returning (given you haven’t used it yet of course).
Is it the left (1) one? That’s the one with darker glazing. I would swap but then it wouldn’t match the glazing on the d-ring (I know, so minor) . I can’t win… lol

I like the lighter one better. Only because I prefer the vachetta to be nice and light, right when you get it.

That’s a hard choice. I’ve the old nano speedy (with the undetachable strap) and the mini bumbag. I think I would choose the mini bumbag because of the strap and the opening is easier to get things in and out
Totally two different bags, but if you have to choose, I'd go for the mini bumbag. It seems more practical and I would love its ease of use with its carrying options, unlike the Nano Speedy. It's more unique, too.
