I got my Pochette Metis two weeks ago and my Neo noe a week ago. I had a big surgery last week so I have been at home, the Metis has been out once, the Noe not at all. It’s a very temperate climate here so humidity is not an issue. In the two weeks I’ve had it the Metis has been in the dust bag, not the box. Same for the Noe. I took then out of the bag to look at but that’s it. Today I noticed these flaws on my bag, and I don’t think it’s right for such expensive bags. Am I wrong? It was suggested to just polish it out but I still think this is poor for a week old and two week old bag.

My PM is about 5 years old and it doesn’t have any tarnishing yet. Take it in and see what they say. You’re within your 30 day period too. Good luck and keep us posted.
Definitely not acceptable for brand new bags that haven't been used/only used once. I would take them back and ask for replacements.
If I were you i would bring the handbags back. Unacceptable.
Unfortunately my speedy b 30 is tarnishing in spots. It's not super bad but I'm sure it will worsen over time. I'm really mad about my key pouch the hardware has turned to silver on the key ring part. Ugh Louis Vuitton can do better.
They really can. Mine is 2 weeks old! It baffles really.
Same with my Speedy B30. I even just sent it to get all rivets and the zipper pulls replaced.
Yes. That’s why I am not replacing the D rings and the rest of the hardware. They want $60 a piece!!!
I wonder why LV produces metal hardware that tarnishes. For example-I have 2 Ferragamo belt bags with gold hardware for at least 20 years. There is NO evidence of hardware tarnishing. The gold chains and hardware look NEW!!!!!
