I also ordered both the Fairfax and Sunset!! The Sunset for when I am wanting to carry more, and Fairfax more easy casual outings when I only need my phone and a couple other little things.
Yay!! The studs on the sunset strap are starting to bug me a little bit, but I’m really fussy about straps. Let us know what you think when they arrive!

Did anyone purchase the small cosmetic case? I know my phone fits in the monogram canvas without forcing it into the bag but I didn't want to take any chances on the denim size.

Re sunset strap: So on one hand, the two clasps that attach together and sit on the shoulder do give the strap a good grip on the shoulder, which is good for when you just want to wear it long on one side. On the other hand, the straps already have studs on them, so the attached clasps on top feel like too much hardware on a strap for me personally. Also, the two clasps attaching on top just looks a bit odd to me, and again, I don’t get the design theory there, but if you are someone that loves a fun strap then I think you could enjoy it. Once I noticed how much hardware is on the strap, I couldn’t stop unseeing it, and even the single strap started to feel like too much hardware for me with the studs. It would have been nice to have the option to remove it and either swap out with another strap or to remove it and carry as a clutch.

Just curious, to those who bought the bags, do you guys intend to keep your purchases for more than several years? the reason I ask is I know from my experiences from buying and selling, cloth, denim those material made bags don't last long if wearing frequently, they fade if wearing in sun a lot, they worn out faster, much faster than leather, coated canvas, and they can't be washed.

Thank you for the review! I’m on the hunt to get one now even though the strap isn’t ideal.

I keep my bags for as long as they bring me joy. I tend to rotate bags and each gets only light use (except my Neverfull, which gets used the most and I have two so I’m fine with that) so I’m never concerned about wear.

I always kept mine and enjoy using my vintage bags, esp. in places where they appreciate it. Paris and my hometown NYC ❤️ wrll taken cared of vintage.

I keep my bags for years or pass down to friends and family members. I rotate my high end designer bags and as far as denim I carry on a daily basis lower end designer which I put in a mesh bag and wash on a cold gentle cycle or protect with a fabric spray.

I haven’t purchased this new denim but had the mini pleaty from 2006(?) for years and it held up fine. I eventually sold it thinking it was dated and a bit small for my needs. But perhaps they fade as you mentioned. I think that’s kind of the beauty of these pieces.

This also puts me off buying the denim collection. You only have to look at the (vastly overpriced) preloved items from the original denim range and see the state of some of them. I do wonder how it can hold up after years of use.
