i do have a question about LV belts - do they get those crease marks from buckling it at the same loop hole? I think they probably will in time, but I'd hate for it to go the same road as many of my belts have - they eventually form that crease and then eventually get brittle at that particular part of the belt and sometimes even crack! I've had a lot of belts torn and rendered useless after this happens

I have a black multicolore and white multicolore that are the old styles from 2003-04-ish with gold square buckle and a brown mono with a gold buckle. My black has come apart and needs to be repaired. Would probably happen to the white if it had gotten more wear. I hope newer style multicolore belts hold up better!

I'm currently dying to find a good deal on a pink denim one, a vachetta riveting wide belt AND a damier inventeur plate mens belt. LOVE that belt.

I posted this a while back- wanted to update everyone and share my good news about my black multi belt. I finally took it into LV last week for repair, but they told me there was probably nothing they could do and I insisted they keep it and send it off anyway if possible. They just called me to tell me there was a product recall for this particular style and told me I could pick up my brand new replacement belt while I'm in town tomorrow! YAY!
So if you have the old style multi belt without stitching in black or white, they do offer a free replacement if your canvas has come apart from the leather underneath because it was glued, not stitched.

Yes, unfortunately in my experience they do wear with time like any other belt could with stressful use.

I have bought a LV Damier Ebene over a month ago and the Brown buckle already starts creasing, is it paintable or should i go to there store? The loopholes stretch very fast too.

These are my dad's belts and yes they do crease like any regular belt.

That's normal wear and tear. All of my belts have that.
