Hey girls,
So my lovely solitaire was either stolen or walked off somewhere with my little girl... and now I have to replace it. I've cried my tears over it, searched the house all over it... now it's time to move on and shop for a new one. (at least that will be fun!) Thank God I have it insured!
I think I can afford about a $15K ring, give or take, from the isurance. I'd like to pair it with an eternity band of tiny diamonds as the wedding band, but get a new engagement ring with a bit more to it. I've narrowed it down to three styles as I'd like something with 3 stones but with the centre stone being the focus and would love your thoughts!!
(ps I might get a more "generic" ring - am in love with the idea of a Tiffany's ring (my first wasn't) but know I could get a bigger better one if I went "generic"... not sure i care to have one that is much bigger than 1.3 carats as I'm not tooooo blingy and with three stones it'll have lots of sparkle!)
I have two girls so I love the idea of two side stones, one for each.
Which one do you think I'd love for the next 40 years?
I want a classic, sparkly, gorgeous ring with a more slender band than a thick one and showing not much metal on the top.
These all in about a 1 carat size (for centre stone - I'm assuming they are talking about the centre stone when they say 1 carat but I might be wrong?)
Thanks for your advice!!
1. Lucida (I wouldn't have gone for the original Lucida with the wider band for me personally, though I adore the stone... but this one is slimmer and shows much less metal - really pretty!)

2. Round Brilliant with pear shaped side stones...http://www.tiffany.com/Engagement/Item.aspx?GroupSKU=GRP10024#f+3/0/0/0/0/0
3. Round Brilliant with two baguettes (closest to my original solitaire)
