Lost Half of Cartier Love Bracelet!

I started with the small also, but most people on this forum know what they are talking about, and I soon found out that the small really does need a companion.

I much prefer the classic over the small, regardless of the higher chances of loose screws.

It really is crazy how everyone on here is right lol. I actually chose the small (intending on getting a small diamond JUC but the classic just seems like a better purchase) based on the lock issue with the regular and decided it wasn’t worth it to have to check my wrist all day, but here I am anyway lol. Do you use loctite as well?

No, I don't use loctite on it (yet!), and honestly, initially I thought it was strange, but after lots of researching, talking to others, and reading this forum, I would not hesitate to use it if I started seeing loose screws on my classic Love all the time and more turning. Better safe than sorry!

And from reading the forum, I do believe people speak of the "purple" loctite that they use on it if I were to use it in the future.

By the way, I have the 4 diamond classic Love and love it and do think it's worth it if you plan to get it in the future! The diamonds do sparkle and brings me more joy! LOL

i'm sorry if this is a silly question, but how can you remove the love bracelet if you decided to take it off in the future after you put on a loctite? is there still a possibility to unlock the love or it has to be attached to your wrist forever.

Loctite, if you use the right strength, gently secures the screws so they don't work loose. Just a apply a little torque and they come right out. It helps to use a bigger jewelers screwdriver for both putting the screws in and removing them. The Cartier screwdriver is a cute accessory, but virtually useless for getting the screws tight. Not a silly question at all!

Hahahaha that’s so good to hear!! Also knowing you got a small at first makes me feel like Im building a good stack. I’ll probably do loctite since I am fairly active and my wrist bangs against my desk all day lol. Thanks again!!

I tried it once with plain and half diamonds just out of curiosity. It is kind of fun!
Has anybody tried switching 2 halves? e.g. rainbow and diamonds How does that look?

Ms SA was really shocked when I asked him that . However, did not want to open the Loves just for trying.

I'm so devastated - I know there are other threads on the forum about this, but I stack my bracelets so the screws come loose. I lost HALF of my bracelet on my front porch and have no idea where the other half is. I searched the trash, bought a metal detector to look through the yard, even looked at the kitty litter! It has completely disappeared.

That being said, does anyone know someone who sells only HALF of them? I have a size 17 gold, new screw system. I don't want to do it through Cartier if possible because I know they charge around $4k. I found some on ebay for around $2k, but they are rose gold.

I know this has happened to other people so there have to be other halves out there for sale! I am still so upset and am hoping it turns up.

hi! So sorry to hear about your love :( did you manage to find it? Or find another half?

My regular 4 diamond Love bracelet fell off twice: Once I found the missing half (one half remained on my wrist both times) in my makeup case; the next time I found the missing half in my car, in between the seat and the center console area where the seat slides front/back.
OP: Check both these places!
