It works about to be about $142 US + any taxes or import duties. Plus whatever percentage your cc charges for a foreign conversion.

I think the hazy is a faded blue... If you look at all their purses, there's one other bag in hazy that looks more faded. It's a barrel style bag with studs.

Ok, thanks. Should I consider the hazy or the natural? I just don't want the hazy to be too blue but it might be more of a gray? Would look nice with jeans I suppose...

hey, way to go!!! Ok, being an Aussie I have 1st hand knowledge of Witchery, the clothing boutique that is, not hexes and stuff, lol! It is actually quite a popular store here. They items (clothes, shoes and bags) are very well made and fit well. Their quality is pretty good too.

Ok, wrt their bags in particular, I haven't touched or seen the one here yet but I think you'd be surprise. Even for the lowish price, Witchery bags have good quality, soft leather. Stitching is done well and not irregular or loose. Hardware generally is decent too. Definitely has nice leather smell, not cheap plasticky fake smell. Zippers all work smoothly. The only areas I think tend to let their bags down are the straps. They just feel a bit cardboardy to me and the leather there wrinkles like they've been glued to the cardboard? within. I think if you look carefully at that pic, u can just make out what I'm saying. Not just on the straps u hold but those that go round the body of the bag on either side.

That said, Witchery bags sell like hotcakes! I have one (though not an inspired design) and I love it! She's my regular everyday, go everywhere bag. I'm ruff with my stuff, lol, and she's lasted my abuse!

Their shoes are ok.. I find the sizing a touch small, not a whole lot but just by smidgens. I like the snake flats too but it's Autumn/Winter approaching here soon so I'm more on the lookout for boots.

Anyway, tell us how you like your items when they come. They are what they are but I think for the price, you won't be disappointed:-)

Thanks for giving us more info! The prices are pretty good for their handbags. Would you suggest the natural or the hazy?

I'm an aussie living away from home and have been ordering from Witchery online for a couple of years now (couldn't fit into the clothes in Singapore!). The quality is very good for the price, the bag quality is also good. They should remove the GST for overseas orders so the prices are about 10% less than what they show. Also, if you don't like it you can return it. Now, here's where i buy my undies: www.zodee.com.au - woohoo!

Another good online store in Australia is www.frenchconnection.com.au , it's FCUK and even has some of the current stock that the UK has and waaaaay cheaper. They deliver overseas too.

LOL. I have a pair of sunglasses by FCUK and my hubby hates them!

Those snake flats are a bargain! Thanks for the vote of confidence in Witchery SerenitySue and Cal. I'm really stoked now. Who knows, the bags might be private label or something (made by same place as designer).

I will certainly update everyone as soon as I get my loot!

Greenie, Greenie!!! Have you received your package yet?? On the weekend, I saw the faux snake skin version of the bag in tan. The leather was very soft! But didn't like the faux snake skin look. Didn't see the smooth leather one but saw another bag there in Hazy. A bit hard to tell what colour it really is coz the lighting was all yellow (incandescent) but it looked sorta purply-grey. DH reckoned it's totally grey, lol, so it could be either:-)

No, SS,

I emailed them but they never got back to me. I'm just patiently waiting!

Greenie, oh I know what you mean. They're correspondence is attrocious! I've emailed them before with queries but never received replies.

Which date did you place your order? Our time zones are really different and Monday 13th here in Victoria was a public holiday (I think they ship from Vic). Delivery time could be variable but when I ordered stuff online thru them, it usually only takes about 1-2 days but then I'm in Vic.

You could give it a few days more or if you want, you could give me your order info (I think they call it the tax invoice #) and I'll call them on the phone to enquire on your behalf. It's a freecall number but dunno if that number will work from the US. You can give it a try 1st if you like:-) Either way, just let me know. It's no problems:-)
