I can't believe they are increasing it again. Although I am almost positive that the one everyone was talking about in the US in March or April did NOT happen here, so I'm kind of confused! I know it's about $550 less in the US - I think I paid $4200 for mine? God I don't even remember but I know I saved $550 from the CND price and the CND boutique would not budge - I'm pretty tight with the SA as she used to work at Birks in VCA and she's lovely, but she said that Cartier doesn't price match the US and as much as she wanted to sell me one told me if I was going down I should get it there! Oh well.

You will have it soon my dear!!! Have you decided RG or YG by the way? Am IN LOVE with my YG. Wearing it with the VCA YG/MOP bracelet today and it is like they were MEANT to be worn together!

I don't mind waiting for this because it is my biggest jewellery purchase yet and I want to make sure I do get exactly what I want and that I'm happy with the size and everything. It's also good because they are out of both rose gold and yellow gold so there will be no bias with one being in stock and not the either.
I havn't decided on YG or RG yet, I know I dont want white gold though; I'm going to try both YG and RG and decide in the boutique. I'm torn because I think YG would pop on my skin, but RG will "match" my skin tone more....but i'll know for sure by next week. so excited!

Hey everyone! I m very excited but still on the fence wether I should get Wg or RG I already have YG plain. My complexion is olive ? hmm, I have 2 days to think about it. I called Cartier and spoke to Leena, she has RG with 4 diamonds put aside for me, but I m hesitant about spending $8 225. PM me if u guys are planning on meeting, most likely I ll have to special oreder mine too.

hi Princesslil, I don't know what looks best with an Olive skin tone but I think RG is pretty universally flattering, if you don't feel comfortable spending the 8225, then perhaps a plain RG? we can be bracelet twins :D

I know they are out of every size in RG and a few in YG too. I read somewhere that depending on your skin and how fast it strips rhodium it may need to be replated but I would ask in the cartier love thread to make sure...

update: I went back to Cartier and I met with Kin (she was helping me before the increase) I looked at all 3 colours: YG, RG,WG.
YG- too yellow against my skin, almost a bit garish so that was ruled out.
RG- very nice but I wasnt too sure of the longetivity of the RG- would I get bored of it?
WG- loved it!!! it is bright against my skin and pops, at first I thought it would be masculine but I tried it on and I love love love it!

...........so I special ordered the WG love bracelet in size 20 :graucho:

moves up my arm a bit and sits at the top of my hand so it wont fall off or anything, but definitely not tight.
the best thing was Kin was able to give me the old price! the weekend previous I was at Cartier and she was going to help me but she ended up going to new york so I left and told the other SA I would come back when Kin was available.
well....the price increase came and I wasn't able to make it to the boutique. because Kin knew I was interested in purchasing before the increase, she pulled some strings and got me the bracelet for $5200+ taxes:nuts:
soooo the wait begins- I'm told Cartier is very backed up right now with special orders so i'm looking at a 2 week wait minimum....be patient Candice...patience is a virtue....:D

I would get the bracelet. I like the pendant, but my problem is I like the yellow diamond when it's surrounded by white diamonds. I know you only asked about the two you picked out, but if the pendant had diamonds around it the decision would be harder for me. So for now the bracelet. I really love it, esp in rg.

YAY Candice! That's great news!!! I'm so happy Kin let you get the pre-increase price (as she should)... yay!!! Do let me know when you pick it up! I'm on vacay now and still have to make it to bloor to pick up my yellow diamond necklace so maybe we can meet up! :) :) :)

Candice that's so exciting! I'm sure white is going to be great! I can't wait for some modeling shots :)

On another note I can't believe how much more expensive these love bracelets are getting! Glad you went for it now!!
