pleather is like kryptonite!

i saw some horrible pearl-white, all-over-glittery, gold-studded bulga ripoffs at target and i walked up to them to see if they were actually there or if i was dreaming, and i touched them, and they were FAKE PEARL-AND-GLITTER CALF HAIR! i actually said 'oh my god, they're furry...' out loud, i think i scared the middle-schooler on the aisle with me.

come on, i went in to target for diet coke and wrapping paper, i really didn't deserve to have to see that, did i?

I actually seem people sporting the LV-wannabe "designer inspired" bags. They can fool you if you stand far away or if you're not wearing your glasses but once you get closer, it'll make you do a double take! :suspiciou

Yeah, if someone is far away they might think it is real - but close up it just looks sad.

If you can't afford a designer bag, there is no shame in carrying a simple non-knockoff bag. In fact, next to the ugly knockoffs at Target there are some cute ones.

The receptionist at work has one of those. She wore it to our holiday party last Friday and I did a double take :laugh: I have seen one of our project coordinators carrying a fake Gucci and wearing fake "diamond" Chanel jewelry, the pendant with the CC logo and the matching earrings. They make fun of my bag obsession :suspiciou
