The last of my sales haul. A canvas strap in Pilot Blue. From the stock pics, it looked like Cobalt blue and so I was very surprised that it turned out to be Pilot Blue. I also wanted the Eiffel Tower scarf in Pomegranate and my sweet SA managed to find one for me at another boutique. Now that I look at these two SS purchases, I find it bizzare cos it feels like my FW20 purchases were already pre-planned? I really like the Nordic Cuir and this strap matched well with it. I'm loving the Antique Pink Roseau and I can tie this Pomegranate scarf on it or even wear it with a white tee when I use this Roseau.
All thanks to a lovely friend whom helped me to purchase this Pearl Cavalcade, it finally arrived last night. I own the bigger version in Burnt Red and wanted to try out the smaller size. Will post what fits in the relevant thread. It is more true to its color with the first pic. The second pic was taken by the window (with bright sunlight).
what a coincidence! I just bought the natural colored one from Nordstrom on a whim! from your what’s in my bag pic, it looks quite small...fits only the essentials?
Indeed. It fits only the essentials and if you have a bulky wallet, that will take up a lot of space. I wanted something dressier though and this suits my purpose.
And what’s the leather like on this one? Is it same as the other cavalcade u have?
The feel is different. It's still soft, not stiff at all but feels a little more hardy than the bigger one in Burnt Red. I like both. Slightly surprised that I do like the croco effect.

Thank you. I really like it. The burnt red is split cowhide. The Pearl croco is calfskin. Both materials should wear really well. FW20's Natural and Cognac (croco) are both very pretty as well.
