Judging from this pics the new strap is too short for me.

Use the Etoiles star strap with Brandy cuir when you wish to use it crossbody? I am tall too, at 5"10 and I really like how it hung but that said, I do havs a preference for my bags to hang higher up. I will be visiting the boutique today. Will try to see whether I can take mod shots for you.

FYI there is a new Cuir strap this season link here that comes in Brandy. No measurements are given so I’m not sure how the length compares to the strap that’s already included with the Cuir bag.

I saw this at the boutique the other day but not in Brandy. I'll try to compare the strap length as well. It's a little frustrating that measurements are missing on the website.

We seem to be about the same height. Mod shots would be cool. But, do not fret too much, I will take a look at the bags at the boutique next week.
I am not a huge fan of mixing leather and hardware colours on a bag. I will definitely take my Cuir with me when I check the new ones out.

Here you go. The Powder Pink cuir is a small. The Rust is a medium. I like the strap drop as it hung higher on me. When worn crossbody and on one shoulder, I used the new Cuir strap that @Cosmopolitan shared. The new leather is interesting. I used to own medium cuirs but found them too big to use as an everyday bag but when the stuffing was removed from the Rust medium cuir, it did not feel that big as before. In the last pic, the Powder Pink small cuir is stuffed vs the unstuffed medium cuir in Rust. Do share your thoughts after your visit to the boutique.

Looking at the pic of the rust Cuir without stuffing it looks not too stiff. It looks like my medium when I carry it handheld. I am really excited about the new Cuirs (although I am not too excited about the price increase we have here). The rust is very pretty, too.
Will definitely report back!

My pleasure to share. Indeed, not stiff at all. I'm very tempted by the Rust as well. It is a beautiful color and without too much orange in it. Very rich in tone as well. I love the Brandy too. Decisions... Decisions...

Bloomingdales.com has the Voyageuse pouch for pre-order. Dimensions: 8.25"W x 3"D x 5.75"H. I’ve seen it IRL and was impressed with its generous width at the bottom; holds lots for a pouch.

So, I checked back at the boutique to see the new Cuir bags.

First of all, they had all colours available and the Brandy colour is really really nice. The leather is puddly and almost like the old one. I also liked the gunmetal hardware.

However, I do not like the new strap. It is way to short for me and I just cannot understand why they don’t do adjustable straps.

Also, the price increase is too much to swallow for me. I was already gulping over the old price point and now I cannot even wear the bag crossbody and would need to buy another strap. I might wait for the upcoming sales to see, if I can snatch something up, but for now no new Cuir for me.

I'm sorry the new strap does not work for you. I too, will wait for end season sales to see if I wish to get the new Cuir.
