I think that is exactly what makes Brandy work (less red undertone). Although I love a good burgundy, I had found it a tad hard to pair past season's Red Lacquer. It works like a neutral.
Oh, this gorgeous hue.Brandy Cuir
I too, was initially apprehensive about the cuir's leather being thicker. I love the old cuir's smooshy leather but after trying out the new leather, the experience was not bad. The shorter and wider new strap is definitely much more comfortable on the shoulder. I understand fully what you mean about the branding. The good thing is we can flip the strap so that the branding is underneath (I am assuming the branding is only on one side). I am going to try out the small cuir in Brandy with my things and have a better feel as to how it will hang. The color is definitely very appealing to me as it seems much more wearable to me than Red Lacquer.Admittedly, I am hugely sceptic when brands change bags that I like.
I got the Brandy Mademoiselle last month and it’s a great color. It works like a neutral and goes with lots of other colors, much moreso than other burgundy bags I’ve owned in the past that had more of a red undertone in them.
Oooooh! These are pretty pics! I am definitely very (very very) keen on seeing this bag in real life. Planning to visit the store next week.
I just hope the strap is not too short. I am tall.I too, was initially apprehensive about the cuir's leather being thicker.
