Back to the forthcoming sale......
I noticed that my invitation has 'Hermes Client' on it-
Does this mean that the sale is also open to all and sundry?
And if so are they invited to attend a slot on the same days as H clients or do we have preference having been given a referral via SM/SA of our stores?
The reason I ask is I really cant be bothered if its a heaving mess with queues outside despite being given time slots
The last time I attended a Hermes sale in London it was very organised and calm and despite having to check bags into the cloakroom wasn't a bun-fight.
Any ideas if this is going to be a crazy free for all?
Also do our time slots mean we have 3 hours to shop before the next bunch get let in or is it as case of we turn up any time in that 3 hour slot? this is pretty unclear on the invite.

I think we are all intrigued - perhaps there are different categories - Hermes Client and Hermes VIP Client ! Either way please could someone who goes on Sat/ Sunday please feed back and let us know what happens as we are all rather intrigued! I do know some good customers who have not got an invite so not sure what the rationale to this has been.

I’ve just checked my invite and it says ‘Hermes guest’. I am going Saturday. I had option of all days.

Same, mine had my name and Hermes guest, I also had the option of all days. I went in there to look and there are still many available slots from 25th onwards.
Hmmmmm- Mine has my name in capitals and then directly below it "Hermes Client"
I had the option of all days too but some of the time slots I wanted seemed to be full because when I tried to book them it wouldn't let me.
I just got a bit worried that because it appears the invitations are not organised from Hermes but an external company and where as previous H sales I attended are definitely clients only the fact that they wrote Hermes client under my name made me wonder if they have invited everyone on the database of the external contractor.
(I'm not an avid sample sale shopper and in the past when I have been to something like this for another brand I like it really was a bunfight and chaos-hence my anxiety about if I should bother or not!)

Mine said from Saturday 25th but I couldnt get a slot

So finally I got my registration link too. Mine was from Sunday but I couldn't get a slot - all a bit strange as it was showing times on Sunday as available but not allowing them to be selected. Anyhow have booked for later in week now but I'd be interested in hearing everyones experiences -and seeing their spoils! Might not be much left by the time I get there but I have small feet so hoping for some shoes to be left in my size!

yes I had same issue showing all times on Saturday AND Sunday but wouldn't let me select them. I understand they restock daily and throughout day so I hope that there will be something there I want.

I thought it may be good to start a thread dedicated to the current London Sale.
Please post..Purchases, Experiences, Disappointments, ease of entry, etc etc
In fact whatever is informative or eye candy for those yet to attend.
Annoyingly although my invite had today listed i was unable to book a slot I'm sure there were others in the same boat.
I think it would be great to have daily updates for the duration of the sale from those attending.

Just left the venue…
Ok, first and foremost, selection is amazing!!! Rtw, shoes, homeware, silks…popular sizes/models included.
Didn’t see any bags apart from beachweare.
Entry was easy and well organized, they checked the QR code and personal id.

two things bothered me immensely:
People from british vogue jumped the cue and had 10 minutes to browse, before anyone else was allowed.
Payment with amex was not allowed despite saying otherwise on the terms and conditions.

lastly, I don’t want to create false hopes, but I think there was a different cue for those who didn’t get invited or did not get a follow up email.

if anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

I was surprised to find so many items available in the most popular sizes.

Trying to understand what you meant here, I thought this was invite only, are you suggesting that people just rock up and queue to get in? Also were you able to take your phone in and did you have to check everything in the cloakroo?

i think people without invite or without the follow up email were queing, however, I’m not sure.
Phone yes , nothing else(photos/video not allowed though). Jacket and bag needed to be left in the cloakroom.
