I was in London recently and caught the stage adaptation of Totoro at the Barbican. It was incredible, innovative and oh so cute! Definitely go if you get the chance to.

I'm going in January! Definitely bringing out my Loewe x Studio Ghibli puzzle bag for the occasion and can't wait!

I was able to get a card holder from the Spirited Away collection online but this time I want to try purchasing it from the store to avoid the headache of cancellations. Does anyone know how the process works for the Studio Ghibli collabs in terms of reserving or being put on a list? I never shopped at a Loewe boutique, only online, so I don't have an SA. Just wondering if they go by a first come first serve basis and only reserve pieces for VIPs or frequent clients [I'm in NYC if that makes a difference]. TIA!

This year’s collection was essentially open to anyone who registered for their mailing list, it wasn’t very ideal though as the link really wasn’t unique and basically everyone got in on the one day presale… then MyTheresa got in on the action as well.

VIPs will always get some sort of priority access for any drop, and this is no different - I expect we would get some form of advanced access instore or at least a reservation of interest, but this will really only be available to clients with purchase history instore (although Loewe does keep track of both instore and online purchases).

Thank you so much!
I guess I will try visiting the store as well as purchasing online. Can't wait until this collection launches, and hopefully it wasn't as chaotic as the Spirited Away online release.

Anyone else skipping the LV x Yayoi Kusama collection to save up for Loewe x Howl’s Moving Castle?
I am on standby to see what designs they are coming up with. Howl’s isn’t my cup of tea but if they pop up with certain nice looking items, the ghibli fan in me will change my mind.

Yayoi Kusama collection doesn’t really appeal to me. Maybe I am not into polka dots or pumpkins but they have an interesting limited set of a pumpkin shaped minauderie.
