Does anyone know if the online inventory is separate from the store inventory?

Thinking of chancing it at a Loewe store on the day of, instead of trying to buy one of the puzzles online, but I’m wondering if they keep the inventory separate!

Unfortunately I’m not a VIP so I won’t have a chance till launch to shop in store, is there a decent chance of getting one of the puzzles on the actual launch date? Or will they be mostly gone from VIP pre-sales? I’m in NYC.

I'm hoping to get a Calcifer puzzle bag, but unfortunately I live in DC, away from any store. Are the chances better to get the SLGs or a strap online than a bag? HMC got me through grad school, so I'll get RTW just to get something, but would prefer a bag or SLG. How long after launch did SA and Totoro items show up for resale?

I don't know about inventory. What I did last year (I was not a vip) was to stop by Loewe prior to launch to connect with an SA. I told her what I wanted and showed up crazy early. She was also able to tell me what was available (there was one item she said they didn't have but in the end they did have it, so I suspect a pre-sale decided not to get it). I got a puzzle and everything else I wanted since I was there so early.

I could be wrong but I think chances will be the same for any of the items. The struggle of shopping online with the pre launch is the website lagging in general rather than being faster for a specific item. I received my order within the week when I ordered from the SA collab so resale stuffs should pop up pretty quick

I think the Spirited Away online listed inventory was separate from store inventory because my confirmed order went 2/3rds cancelled. But at the very end of the campaign the online help staff actually reached out to say they were sorry for all the drama; they're reconciling all remaining inventory online and in boutiques; and to ask if I was still interested in my canceled items (they were offering residual stock to all customers who had canceled items). Additionally, in the middle of the campaign I did manage to take a trip to the South Coast store, they had a bunch of items (kanoashi amazona, otori and frog items) that were OOS online and totally untrackable via "reserve in store" but clearly for sale.

If you're asking about returns popping back up for sale on Loewe's website, it was impossible to know - they had a ton of ghost availability. The Spirited Away thread is littered with a lot of us saying we got an order, and then for it to be canceled immediately. eBay almost immediately after the presale day had SA items listed for sale.

Online inventory is separate from in store inventory.

The Rodeo store is having an invitation-only event the evening of 1/31- sit-down dinner + movie (both off-site) and then at midnight will be the 2/1 launch- the store will be open to invitees only to purchase the collection (whatever they were allocated). I was told this is the only way to see what is available at the store before it will be offered to the public. For me, as a casual observer only, I will not attend- I do not want the pressure/guilt to buy. But if you are into the collection and interested, you should contact the Rodeo boutique. I am not in anyway a VIP and I was invited.
Ahhh good to know! Thank you so much for the info. <3

I rewatched the film because of this release and it just makes me want things more - particularly the “beard bag.” Not a practical choice for me though. I’d love to still see it in person but - like last year’s frog flamenco - it seems like an item that shops will get very few of so once it’s gone, it’s gone. I’ve made a shortlist of seven items I’d like but if I get none it’s OK. I’d still rather have some of the items from last year that I missed out on!

(For whoever was asking about stock, availability on the website for Spirited Away was pretty random. I vaguely remember people in the know would share when restocks were likely but things would come and go all the time and many people had orders cancelled because the item that had suddenly come back in stock either wasn’t actually there or was bought by someone else at basically the same time. I did get the aforementioned frog flamenco this way, though - it was the one item I got obsessed about, one day it was suddenly available to buy, and it went through. It’s a bit of a guess what it’ll be like this year!)

After seeing tons of stock photos online I am unsure now. I wanted one calcifer piece, best would be the cardholder (I reserved a brown one), but noticed there are three types of faces calcifer makes and I like the one on the black pieces the most, but there is no cardholder with that face, only a slim wallet. Now I am pondering whether the flamenco in black would be a better choice.

How do you who have a flamenco like that bag (the small one)? Is it practical? And does anybody know its price in Euros?
