The Rodeo store is having an invitation-only event the evening of 1/31- sit-down dinner + movie (both off-site) and then at midnight will be the 2/1 launch- the store will be open to invitees only to purchase the collection (whatever they were allocated). I was told this is the only way to see what is available at the store before it will be offered to the public. For me, as a casual observer only, I will not attend- I do not want the pressure/guilt to buy. But if you are into the collection and interested, you should contact the Rodeo boutique. I am not in anyway a VIP and I was invited.

Interesting how NY has a different date, but same exact concept. Was told 2/1 movie at 7pm then midnight WITH car service is provided back to the Soho store to preview and shop.

I don’t think any random Jack and Jill can be invited though otherwise OP would have been invited on the spot when inquiring. I’m sure some kind of purchase history + manager/corporate approval is done before asked don’t you think?

Regardless, I also don’t think anyone should feel pressured to buy anything. Of course, the intention is to make sales, but it’s the last collaboration and I think anyone who’s invited should take advantage. Go for the experience! Are they going to blacklist you for only buying 1 item? Lol

By all means wait in line/struggle to click add to cart on the official/pre launch date, but let’s be real how often are you pampered by a brand? Clearly not me haha

I’ll be going to the LA event! Hoping to pick up a few items to round out my small Loewe x Ghibli collection and also to just to enjoy the experience. If anyone else is going, feel free to dm me— would love to say hi in person!

I haven’t heard anything about pre-ordering items from the Rodeo store before the event though, unfortunately.

They confirmed it’s the same process to SA and then a couple of days later I was invited to a preview / launch in NY on Feb 1.

I’m waiting for my invite as we speak. Totally shocked and excited, but yeah haven’t gotten any sneak peaks or sent over my wishlist. I’m just letting it play out and see what happens.
