That is an awesome before-and-after. Super telling! No one went after the mohair scarf I see, and no one shelling out that much for the cape either also goes back to estimates of how much stock was produced for certain items...

Personally I find the pricing on the castle pieces of RTW to be a bit too high… I settled for the pouch in the end to get the castle design, was initially considering the castle anagram tote but compared to Yubaba last year (which I got), I think it lacked a little oomph to command such a high premium over the regular anagram tote…

Agree with you on the tote - the yubaba (hah my photo) is just so much pizzazz and the castle tote this year just had greenery fluff. The back was also just an HMC logo which it could have done without... Would have rather had some more landscape on the back

Here come some highlights before the official opening:

The most expensive bag in this collection. My SA told me actually it was already taken but they would display it for 1-2 days. (And it disappeared the next day already.)

The turnip head cape, brooch and the small castle pouch were also gone very soon...

Some rare bags... I dare not move the straps on the magical sky hammock and the amazona 28 although it somehow annoyed me since their charm was somehow affected.

I love seeing the whole set of magical sky stuff! I got to the Hong Kong pop up around 4:30pm on opening day and must have got the last magical sky leather item. They still had the sweatshirt when I left. They still had a blanket and Turnip Head brooch up too but none of the small castle bags. Do you remember if you saw the rock paper scissors charm? It seemed to be selling the slowest on the website but I don’t remember seeing it there.

Okay, another question raised above by that tote bag - how are people taking care of their bags? Do you all use leather conditioner? Or water proof them? Should we do that even with bags with the little crystals?

I treat all my bags with Collonil Pro Carbon or Bagvolution Safe. I know many say not to mess with the bags, but in Germany it often rains and also I want to use my bags without super babying them or watching my hands, so I nevertheless treat them and never had problems.

Haha maybe... It takes one to know one!! BUT also so wonderful when someone stops you on the street and asks, IS THAT A SOOT SPRITE?!?!

I actually met a male coworker after leaving Loewe with my friend and I guess he was pretty stoked, what the heck I was carrying, also like shopping at the most expensive street in town… But I also love recognizing myself special bags on other people in the city. Bag watching.

I like their jacquard straps, I just don’t think the HMC ones especially go with the bag. Also you’d want the design on the outside which means having LOEWE LOEWE LOEWE on the outside and part of the reason I like the brand is it’s not covered in its name. Which is mostly my hang ups about if I ever move home to a place where no one wears brands and people make awkward comments about it. (Although I’m also hoping my family just won’t know Loewe at all. )

This looks the most promising, but I’m not sure what the D ring part is for. Attaching a charm?

Edit: actually, the colour is the best, but both sides seem to have the brand name instead of one side being the logo. I’ll have to keep looking for the right grey with a logo decoration!

The D-ring looks like that piece on the Amazona for the lock…
I saw they also have a tiny bit wider leather straps, but not in a matching color… Perhaps they will release some more Colors in future.
I also would prefer the Jacquard straps only the the logo. The Loewe Loewe Loewe print does not look so good, especially given how expensive those straps are. I think the Howl‘s Feather one is gorgeous, but have no bag for it to attach…

I am very surprised at the lack of unboxing videos on YouTube...

Me, too! I am totally waiting for those! But all the videos are on TikTok. And I don‘t like TikTok at all, but moved there to watch them anyway…

Thank you for those lovely pictures! The Amazona 28 with the matching strap is so stunning. Kinda wish, I could get that, too. But spend too much already, also still craving some small pieces and probably would not be able to source one anyway…

Lucky that you got the magical sky wallet (I read your post before). The sweatshirt was still there on Friday. The rock paper scissors charm is there on one of my photos taken on Thursday (on the yellow basket bag). But I don't think I saw it on Friday then.

I really enjoy looking at all those whimsical pieces! Kind of heart warming, even if I am a adult.
And I really need to get that mohair scarf out. Did anybody have solution for the shedding? Does it stop after wearing it a few times? Or does using a tape roll help? I have to try letter later. Also I have the same problem with my Acne scarf…

I got the Amazona 28 on launch day as well. This is one of my favorite pieces. The details are beautiful!

Mine from Madrid came with a gorgeous witch box but nothing else special - no notebook, no stickers, no little gift card placard thing.

Yeah, I really don't like the ones on TikTok, I just feel like the unboxings are too fast, and a bit fake... not genuine.

It's precisely because we are now adults with hard-earned disposable income that we can now indulge in the precious joys that bring back heartwarming whimsy. though it also feels like a downpayment for a house. So there's that.

Wow, congratulations! How lucky! It really is so stunning! Also I love that is has a very wearable color scheme and a decent size (I am not so much into that mini bag trend…)! I just saw a TikTok of some asian male star carrying it and thought that it looks fabulous carried!
