I have seen some people saying that they were able to delete just the strap but it doesn't work for me either. I wanted to buy just the whale charm (non-HMC) but opted to just wait until i'm near a Loewe store in June. If it were for the HMC dice, I would do the same as you and just grab it, and maybe try to return just the strap afterwards if they'll allow it.

I just tried again to remove the strap only and got it to work. Not sure if it makes a difference, but I’m located in the US and using the mobile site. After adding the entire charm it adds the strap and charm as separate items in my cart and I’m able to remove the strap from my cart before checkout.
I really hope my order ships soon, I ordered the R/P/S too and seeing all these pics is making me impatient and anxious!

I was very tempted (I turned down the blue version for my Markl bag at the pop up, but spotted the yellow one on display too). I might have got it if the elusive magical sky wallet hadn’t been lying on the table.
Also love the huge Heen head T-shirt, it just cracks me up. The Turnip Head sweater is one of my faves too.

Honestly I love this charm. It’s ended up on my Dangerous Secondary List (you know, the things you crossed off your primary wishlist because there were other items you liked more and really you’d spent enough on this collection already … but then you keep going back to the website and being like ooh, I could manage this too …).
For people wondering, none of my presale stuff has shipped (2 orders/3 items, sending to Hong Kong). But when I emailed to ask about that SSN requirement I was told my orders were successful and to wait for the shipping notice so I don’t *think* I have cancellation worries.

For example, the totoro one since 2 years ago, I used only 1-2 times maximum! The small puzzle on the other hand, is very practical. I use them traveling everywhere with me , up on the mountain or in the city, it all fit in stylishly. And it's easy to pack in my carry on luggage too. I love all Loewe animal/animation pieces. The Turnip blue sweater is so very soft! I actually also ordered the Magical Animal Sweater as well, but Selfridges canceled that piece on me.I got it to work on the Canada site yesterday and check out a Calcifer charm on its own, but it doesn't seem to work on all the straps.

Small is great; I often have my diary, book/Kindle, water bottle, umbrella, wallet and some small items with me and it can all fit. I wondered if they’d have a medium this year so I could have both sizes but honestly, I get back pain if I carry a heavy crossbody so I wouldn’t want to carry everything that size can fit.
Maybe you could attach the mini to the small like a weird version of LV multi pochette accessoires.
If it’s like Spirited Away, sign up for an email alert on the website and keep checking this thread in case someone shares info about a general online restock (that did happen last year, although many items did pop up for sale randomly - only it was equally random as to whether the order could actually be fulfilled). I doubt there will be any available immediately as most online orders haven’t shipped yet but I’m sure there’ll be returns later.
