LK Bennett Shoes (a favorite of Kate Middleton)

I bought a pair of LK Bennett (I think they are called Sabiro) and didnt realise I was pregnant at the time. Fast forward nine months (I didnt want to wear them whilst I was pregnant in first trimester as it was winter and then towards end of pregnancy, my feet swelled and they didnt fit).

I've now had my baby and last time I tried them on, was heartbroken to find that they now feel too small! I think my feet must have grown since being pregnant!?

I have read the suggestion on here to try hot towels to try and stretch the patent - I will try that- but does anyone else have any other suggestions? If the hot towels doesnt work, I will try and get them professionally stretched... :-(

I know I said I wouldn't, but I ordered another pair... I think they made a mistake pricing it 95 instead of the regular 195 euro, and an extra 10 euro giftcard too! So maybe I will be adding Sabira in patent dark blue to my collection :)

Niceee! Where did you order them?

wow lucky you with a gift card! I have been ordering from their website for ages because am currently in asia which just doesnt stock the big sizes and not once did i get a giftcard!

Sorry for the late reply, I was on holiday :smile1:

I bought them from a Dutch retailer. They don't ship internationally, or I would have shared here :smile1:

I ordered from their official website once, but I had a horrible experience! I ordered two pairs, I already paid for them, then they cancelled one pair. Since their international shipping is really expensive (much much higher than other online shops) I wanted to cancel my order because I didn't want to pay that much shipping for just one pair. They told me it wasn't possible to cancel my order anymore, even though I email the minute they let me know an item from my order was cancelled
I still love their shoes, but I prefer to order them somewhere else...

Btw, the patent Sabira run a half size large for me! I exchanged my regular 39 to a 38,5 :smile1: Love them, very comfy height and timeless style :smile1:

Wow you're kidding. You did right I'm contemplating too, but went over the top in the shoe department last month!
And I agree their shipping is obscene!
Even with sales they cost more than going down the shops.

Any more feedback about the sizing? I'm a 6.5/7 (mostly 6.5) and purchased the Sledge in both 36.5 and 37. 36.5 is really snug and 37 is sort of just right, maybe slightly loose.

Question for you how own the sledge in patent, assuming you didn't get it done at the cobbler... does it loosen up over time? I ask that because I'm afraid if I get the 37, over time it will be more loose. Then again, it's patent so how much can it really expand you know?

I don't own the sledge, but I do have 3 other models in patent, and yes they really expand when you wear. Only wider though, not longer. Mine are also kinda tight when I first put them on, but after like half an hour they're perfect! The half size larger falls off my foot after warming them up a bit.

If you can, try wearing yours inside on carpet for at least half an hour, it will give you an idea on how the fit changes :)

ordering from their website is really irritating...they include the shipping costs as part of the commercial value of the goods which means I pay extra for tax customs!!!

and their customer service told me their shoes run TTS - no it doesnt! my usual size is 42 but their 42 is too huge! even 41 is half a size too big for me but i gave up returning the items and getting them to reship the correct size!!!

has anyone bought the flat shoes? are the sizes TTS or smaller than the heels (sabira and sybila)?

Thank you so much! I assume you mean the initial 30 minutes and not 30 minutes everytime you put it on right? I think I will wear it with panty hose like you said for half an hour on carpet and see how it goes. The length is perfect, just around the toes it's scrunchy.
