Hi Ladies!

I was wondering if anyone could discuss how their patent leather Maddox's do after a couple wears? I am normally a 6.5. I tried on a pair of Maddox in the 36 and its a bit snug but when I tippy toe in the shoe the heel slips off. I'm thinking I should probably get the 36 since they do stretch?

Thanks!

This is my first post to this thread even though I purchased my first pair back in 2013, which I never posted.

Anyway, I purchased these two pair from Nordstrom Rack in Towson, MD when I went home to visit my mom.

I'm hoping to get some advice from those who own any patent LK Bennett shoes.

I've twice brought Sybila Heels in patent but have returned both because they feel so hard and uncomfortable. The height is perfect but I can't afford to buy another pair of shoes I won't wear due to discomfort.

If patent shoes are uncomfortable when you first try them on will they always be uncomfortable?

Most of the pairs I own are patent and yes, they will stretch. Not an awful lot though. I suggest you only size up if they don't slip off your heel.

I own a pair of sybila btw but I find the shilo more comfortable even though they are higher :)

Thanks Divealicious. I've been wearing them for a bit today and they feel a little bit softer but I've decided to return them again. I'm just not sure that they are such a great fit for me. I will try the Shiloh when I return these on Saturday.......

I also have both the shilo and sledge in patent.. and they are a beeeeeyotch to break in! but once they are, they are by far the most comfortable shoes I own. I did finally cave and get a stretcher though because breaking them in sucked so much; but for reference I do have wide feet and a bunion!
