I have one bag buddy who is also addicted to designer bags and knows how much everything costs and of course my DH knows. But to everyone else, I lie by omission. I just don't talk about the price!

My boyfriend knows - thankfully he's supportive about it! :heart: I don't tell anyone else the price unless they ask. Sometimes I feel ashamed for spending that much but I don't lie about it. :shame:

I have an aunt and cousin who always ask, drives me nuts. I always say that I don't remember. My bf knows how much they cost, he can't really complain if it is my money. I usually don't reveal how much things cost to my parents unless it is on one of their charge cards:smile1:I don't tell my friends because one time I made the mistake of telling someone what something cost and they went off on me, which I thought was just so uncalled for since it isn't their money and I had saved for it! Nothing wrong with a lie here and there.

I don't need to lie about the prices to my bf because hes always there when I get my stuff most the time...and plus he always picks the most expensive bag whenever I can't decide....
I don't always tell my mother how much I pay because 1 purse = 1 semester of tuitition (so I avoid telling her prices or she'll be ranting on and on). My father is very nice and understanding so as long as its my money I can buy whatever I want for whatever the cost and I don't need to lie to him.

My BH knows knows the prices what Dior, LV, Gucci, Prada or even tod's are concerned so if I get a deal and things stay within the 500/600 euros limit he is fine so it's amazing I always seem to manage to stay within that limit or soooooo...
Now he has no idea what B-bags or paddy's cost so ... (you get the point)

the only person who knows the actual cost of my bags is my fiance, we share bank accounts so he knows exactly how much money i blow on bags, clothes and shoes :laugh: everyone else including the rest of my family doesn't need to know because how i spend my money is irrelevant to them, but i know my sisters know because they're just as bad as i am when it comes to bags

I use to tell family members and friends the price if they ask but I got so much flack from it, that I don't share anymore. In fact, I quit telling some family members my new bag purchases. They take away from my excitement with their looks and comments so it's best that I don't share my bag obsessions with them. On the other hand, DH knows all my expensive bag purchases including the prices, its only out of common courtesy because he never buys anything unless he talks to me about it first:flowers:

I tell people the price of my bag, with a couple hundred shaved off. With my family and relatives its automatic insanity when a hangbag is over $1000, so I tend to lie about the price. However my friends dont really care what I spend my money on. After all, we buy them because we love them, not because they cost an arm and a leg.

Nope, I don't need to lie. If my husband asks me how much I spent on a particular bag I tell him the truth. Sometimes he'll ask if I really need the bag and I'll ask him I need it as much as you need your BOAT!

I recently took the plunge and purhcased a croc Birkin and wallet and he looked at it and said OMG that is so beautiful. Please take care of it! Then he asked "How much was it" So I told him "as much as it cost's to put Kristen through College for 1 year" He almost choked! It was funny. He asked me if I needed handcuff's to go with my bag and when I asked why he said Don't you want to clinch the bag so no one steals it from you? lol,... men!
